Ok….when Phil saw Mel kiss Nathan, did he ever confront her? is that when she came up with that idiotic excuse that she was telling him goodbye? or is that the reason she gave Nathan as to why she kissed him? i really cant stand her much anymore, I was liking her for a long while, but she’s getting on my last nerve like she is with many of you. I’d actually rather see Chloe than Mel. Ever since she got together with Phillip it seems like she’s unbearable. ugh. I wish they would bring up the fact that it was Daniel that she was having the affair with when she was with Lucas. and she didnt sleep with him when she was married did she? I dont think so. Daniel was the one ALWAYS pursuing her. noone ever brings that up. even Nathan doesnt bring it up. it’s all Chloes fault.
By the way I think Chloe looks gorgeous, I think that dress compliments her very well.
She does look beautiful. Purple is her color. But I really do hope she tells Dr. Dan what she heard about Chloe. Mrs. K. would probably then find out what Phil said was true: the messager often gets shot.
Mel has become so self-righteous and nosey. She has never much liked Chloe, calls her names for doing what she likely has done herself and really sounds like she wants daddy to herself. Who made her the morals police?
That being said though, I think it would be a real lollapaloozer knockout punch to find out that your parents weren’t really your parents as she did, (plus having to deal with the Trent thing), so I can see a bit why she is clingy to Daniel – and some what of a "daddy’s" girl and very protective of Daniel.
And also, being how she’s never grown up, don’t most "children" want their parents to be together? I think deep down, her dislike or hatred of Chloe is because she wants to mend the family and have Mommy and Daddy together, so it will bring her own little perfect world together.
Too bad for little Melly that her world is going to come crashing down in a crumbled heap when she finds out who Chloe cheated on her father with. I don’t think, as fragile and as upset as she is right now, she can survive when she finds that little secret out.
Yup. She told Phil it was a "goodbye" kiss. Wouldn’t have flown with me but for some stupid reason it was fine with Phillip. I guess he figured what he did was far worse.
He has become almost as unbearable to watch as his child-bride. His entire outlook is so pretentious and his ‘screw you all, it’s all about saving my ass’ is driving me nuts. JKJ is probably one of the hottest guys on this show, and yet I can no longer root for him because of how he’s being written, from his poorly mismatched marriage to Melanie, to his incessant BFF draw to Chloe, right on up to the top of his greasy, unkempt little head. Give me a break with this, writers, and please put Humpty-Dumpty Kiriakis back together again.

I agree. I love Phillip but his hair is gross. Would love to see him get a close cut like EJ or even just a nice wash and trim.
grousing about his hair this past summer and no improvement in sight…send him to a stylist! EJ still looks good, I like his short hair cut too.
I disagree with you about EJ I loved his haircut before. Looked so much more professional. I dont like this shaved look. As for Phil, YES Please give that boy some shampoo!
If you knew your dad’s fiancee/wife/girlfriend, that he was totally devoted to & in love with, cheated on him you really wouldn’t tell him? Nothing would keep me from telling him. I would definitely give Chloe a chance to tell him first, but it’s obvious she wouldn’t, so I would tell him. It’s not about being the "moral police," as it is protecting someone you love from being further hurt and humiliated. Sure he would get angry with Melanie at first, but how stupid does he look now that everyone else knows except him. Who all knows, Kayla, Stephanie, Chloe, Philip, Carly, Melanie, Nathan & Father Matt, wow! I would be furious that none of those people loved me enough to step up and be honest with me!
If someone cheated on me in the way Chloe did, I think I could forgive and get past it. But with the level of deception she and everyone else has now, I think I’d move away and start a new life somewhere!
so I think Mel should have told her dad. Yes, you can forgive cheating once, perhaps, but the old saying once a cheater always a cheater…since Dan knew Chloe was unfaithful to a man that she was suppose to love and marry (Lucas), how could Daniel ever have that special trust one is suppose to have with that one "special person in your life". I know he’s blind in love with her, but the man does (or should) have a brain to think about reality with. To me, there is no difference with Chloe cheating on Lucas or Daniel. I really can’t wait until someone brings that up to her.
I think if I loved somebody I would not want to hurt them by telling them about the infidelity. I think that would hurt much more than finding out that you had kept it from them. When it comes right down to it, I don’t think it’s anyone’s business to tattle. Some things are better left unsaid.
I respectfully disagree. It has happened to me, and none of my ‘friends’ or ‘family’ told me. I had to hear it through the grapevine, then set it up to find out for sure myself. It would have been a LOT better had they told me. I call none of them ‘friends’ now! And never will again. I don’t need ‘friends’ like that.
