I think Chloe’s wedding gown was horrible. No style whatsoever, and you could definitely see her padding through the satin. Hated it!
Really? I thought she looked beautiful in it. I kinda liked it. a whole lot better than Melanie’s dress. I didnt really care for the flowers on top of her belly but other than that i thought it was very ellegant. a nice dress it is her 2nd wedding after all.
I thought it was simple and beautiful. But the boobs sticking out the top of it was a little bit much! They looked so pushed up through the top.
I agree with MK that the neck was too low on the wedding dress, but I did like the style. And, I loved the purple bridesmaids’ dresses–thought the jewelry was pretty, too. That purple is definitely a good color on Melanie.
did hide the preggers pretty good, except for Chloe holding onto it for dear life like she always does. I thought the purple lwas a nice color for all. I would have thought the flower arrangements would have incorporated more of that color (if it did, it wasn’t noticeable to me).
additional expense for this wedding. Those flowers were probably leftovers from E.J. and Sami’s non-wedding. I can honestly say that I have never seen that plunging of a neckline on a wedding gown. It would have been better for her to wear a strapless bodice that perhaps came straight across her breasts. The pregnancy was enough bulge. I did love her hair though, and I agree that both Nicole and Melanie looked terrific in that deep purple. Nice touch also with the matching ties for Brady and Philip. I thought Melanie looked especially pretty …. all the way up until she opened her mouth.
I was not a fan of the wedding gown. Too plain with that weird applique on the front. I loved Chloe’s hair though. I really liked the bridesmaid dresses and Melanie’s hair with that sparkly clip at the nape of her neck, very nice. I even liked Maggies blue satin suit. Victor looked classy in his tux. The groom however looks like he’s ready for a wedding on the beach instead of an October wedding in the midwest.
She kind of looked like a Greek goddess to me and it IS tough to look great in any wedding gown when you’re that pregnant. I too liked the purple touches. Anyway, far better than Mel’s wedding duds.
It was very flattering for her pregnancy and I thought it fit Chloe perfectly. And you girls that thought there was too much cleavage, you must never watch "Yes to the Dress" on TNT. OMG, I can’t believe what some brides choose for a wedding dress cleavage, especially the plus size ones. Some of them look like they need to be sent home to dress more appropriately. I didn’t think Chloe’s was bad at all.
As to the bridesmate’s dresses…fabulous. I had that same color when I got married so I guess I’m partial to it. I liked the guys ties also. I’m going to a wedding next week where the guys are wearing cobolt blue ties to match the girls’ dresses. I bet it’s going to be beautiful. It is a black tie wedding on a yacht so I’m guessing it’s going to be very elegant. It better be for what I spent on my dress. The only formal dress I had was velvet which would not be very appropriate for a Florida wedding.
Boy Bonbon, you’re right about those “show the girls” wedding gowns on there. So many of these brides announce “I want a SEXY dress!” I question if they really know what marriage means and bet it won’t last. And what’s up with this trend of bringing in the fiancee to help them choose? Geesh, what do most men know about wedding gowns! Guess I’m getting too old.
I thought it looked great on her. I also thought her boobs were not as big as usual. BUt the style suited her. THe purple gowns were beautiful. I read that purplr was one of Frances Reeds favorite colors and the actors were wearing alot of it in her honor. Wondered if that was why they chose purple.
