After that meeting with EJ and Ari yesterday, I’m wondering if the writers are toying with the idea of putting them together. Ari definitely appeared to have some sympathy for EJ and even defended him to Rafe. Although I really want EJ and Nicole back together, I’d rather see Ari with EJ than with Brady. Hmmmm, maybe Brady will stand by Nicole afterall and something will develop. I could live with that.
well, there are spoilers that give the heads-up on Brady and Nicole!
…I think Ari and EJ would make a cute couple! I’m all for it, actually…Especially if the writers WON’T put EJ and Sami back together (I’d rather have them together, over all couples)! My guess is that the writers will have EJ and Ari fall heavily in lust or love with each other, and then by the time she realizes that he’s the drug lord, she’s gonna struggle with turning him in to the cops! If anything, I think she will become a BAD GIRL and be down for her man (EJ)! That would be a really cool SL and a sizziling couple!
Oh, and ummm…I so TOTALLY don’t want EJ and Nicole back together. Ugh! They’re so not a match, in my book. Nicole needs to serve her time in jail, and then try to rekindle whatever it was that she and Roman had going on that one blistful night at the hotel, before she exited the last time from the show! Now that would be a very interesting/exciting couple to watch! NICOLE-ROMAN!
I don’t see EJ and Nicole, in the short term anyway. They’ve been there, done that, and without Sydney don’t see much of a story for them right away. I would much rather see what EJ/Ari brings and what will happen when she discovers who he is.
I think EJ and Arianna would make a good couple too. If they are going to keep Brady torn between her and Nicole, then it would make sense for her to develop feelings for someone else. And it would be that ‘forbidden’ kind of love, since she knows he’s trouble. I never liked EJ and Nicole together… just didn’t see any chemistry there. The only thing that kept him with her was Sydney, and that’s gone now so he no longer has an interest in her.
But Nicole? Hmmmmmmmmmm…I dunno – I’d have to think about that one – but it could be interesting. That’s what we all watch "Days" for anyway isn’t it? The interesting? And true Roman has not had a love interest or even much of a story line with anyone since Kate (and the bloody wedding), not as least that my ol’ doddering memory can recall right now.

No, please don’t put Nicole with Roman. What they had a long time ago was just a pity-party one-night stand and I don’t believe there was anything at all between them but a seize the moment thingy.

are exploring the possibility of Ariana and E.J., and it has to be said, Brady is beginning to bore me to tears. As much as I loved him at first, he’s starting to just sound a little too "bitchy" for me right now, and this constant defense of Nicole makes me want to just slap him hard across the face and say: "WAKE UP, IDIOT!" That, plus: "Maybe you should go live in a water treatment facility, because you sure do like being *HIT on." Ari and E.J. I will be keeping a close eye on, because I think they are going to be seeing a lot more of each other, and who knows where it will lead. As for Roman, there’s only one person I would like to see him with, and that’s Anna. Maybe if Leanne sticks around after Sydney is returned, the writers will finally see what a good match she is with Roman Brady.
I would DEFINITELY like to see Anna and Roman get together again. You could tell when she came back last time he still had feelings for when he’d see her with Tony. Who’s with us on this one?
Anna & Roman- Yes
Nicole & Roman- No
Nicole & Brady – Yes
I really don’t like these huge age differences between the couples. I already have a hard time believing that Phillip would be interested in Melanie, and what are they, a little over 10 years apart? Chloe & Daniel, the same thing.
Anna and Roman could be a nice match, but Anna will ONLY truly be a beautiful match for the one and only: TONY DIMERA!
It may be more in tune to real life with the older guy with being with a younger gal – just the way of the world it seems. Does not seem to be that unusual to for man to be ten years or so older than the woman. Even in this day and age. Look at many of the couples in the media, entertainment, politics, etc. This is not a hundered percent accurate all the time but a large portion of the population seems to work this way. This theory holds pretty solid since the writers for the most part have paired ‘about the same age’ couples and the older man/younger woman, but have not written an older woman with a younger man…at least not that I have seen in "Days" and perhaps just a couple of movies, etc.
Kate and EJ and Kate and Daniel. Both are much younger than her but those were not much more than sex. They weren’t relationships per se.
Since the fateful bloody wedding which ended the… what I thought to be a mis-matched… relationship of Roman & Kate, Roman did digress back to having feelings again for Marlena — if my recollection is working
Then, as said already, Roman showed some jealousy/interest in Anna (which was pretty cute for us ‘oldies’ to watch). Their relationship goes back so, so, so, so many years. If they’d pair up, then Christy Clark could re-live a fantasy and come back on the cast as Carrie (w/grandchildren, of course).
I saw the original Roman/Anna. First off Anna ran away from Roman because he didn’t make enough money to keep her happy and she faked her death to do it while she was also pregnant with his first child (Carrie). He hurt for over 5 years due to that decision of her’s. Marlena was the woman who he took a chance with after having that happen.
Then Anna came back and faked an illness to cause trouble for Roman again with Stefano pulling the strings. That said, I don’t see him being interested in her again but the problem is that Roman was Wayne Northrup then and not Josh Taylor. Josh’s character "Chris K" was more of the wild type, club owner etc. So Chris’ character would have been a better match for Anna. Unfortunately, the writers way back messed around with the Roman/Chris actors which means that things might work if you can forget what Anna did to the real Roman. I still see Josh’s character as Fauxman since to me, he’ll never be anything but Chris K. For those that never saw the original Roman, I could understand where you would see a connection.
Anna and Tony were each other’s true loves from the beginning to the end.
