Okay, I’m convinced that every single resident of Alaska is voting for Bristol. I can’t believe she has stayed this long. If it keeps going like this, she could win!!!
But the next logical rejectee was Kurt. It’s sad to see them go but everybody can’t win…unfortunately. And Maks and Brandy in the bottom three??? That was hard to believe. I would really like to see the tally of votes from the viewers to see exactly what the margin is between the contestants.
November 10, 2010 at 2:42 pm #17993luckeyParticipantfinale. It would be horrendous if that happened; however, the reality is that this is not about talent only about who gets the most votes. I think it becomes a sort of coincidence that sometimes the best dancer does get the most votes. Whether viewers want to believe it or not, Bristol’s votes were originally politcally instigated. Now that the elections are over and Sarah is not on the TV everyday, they are just voting from habit and it could put her in the final two and even, heaven forbid, become the winner. This is just my honest opinion having watched all the seasons. In fact, if you watched the first season, when the actress from GH won, the fans were up in arms that John O’Herlihy was the better dancer and should have won. That was when they allowed all kinds of gymnastic moves and she was flying all over the place with her partner. The reasoning from the fans was that John, being the male partner, was not in a position to do all of that stuff, so it was seen as unfair that the female and male celebrities were judged differently. They had a dance-off between the two and John won. However, you don’t hear DWTS mention that ever that there were two winners that first season. So…it is what it is!

I’m not from Missouri, but, I swear, they’d have to "show me" those results. Every time I see Bristol go through now I want to just scream out loud. I’m waiting for Len to explode if she makes it any further and sends another competitor home who clearly doesn’t deserves to leave. I really like Mark, and I know the pros want to win as much as the stars, but surely he must be at least a little embarrassed to realizes as well that the insignificant improvement Bristol Palin has shown pales in comparison to the remaining competitors, as well as to the last two eliminations.
November 10, 2010 at 4:22 pm #18000NoraParticipantSarah is going to be on tv, I saw last night that her and her family are going to have some kind of reality show while they are in alaska. is that where they are from?? who else is left? I quit watching it. did Jennifer and Florence get voted off already?
November 10, 2010 at 4:32 pm #18002BonbonParticipantI wouldn’t say she hasn’t improved. If you just take her dancing ability alone, I think she’s done very well and come a long way. Len even said last night during that stupid bit they do with Jerry Rice and that other goon that her execution of the dance is very good.
She is just lacking in personality. If she had the same demeanor Kyle has, I could see her going all the way but she is just plain FLAT, vanilla to the max. I don’t know why the girl can’t smile. It’s really not that hard.
November 10, 2010 at 6:12 pm #18009PattiParticipantbut compared to the others …. no way. I can just see the headlines for this show if she beats out Brandy or Jennifer or Kyle even …. this show would take a full-blown nosedive.
November 10, 2010 at 10:15 pm #18012SWParticipantI don’t see it lasting much longer – the show I mean. While I think Bristol has improved, she is not dancing on the same level as some others.
My final comment: Why does this show keep putting that Kenny Main on? I quit watching and switched to the Biggest Loser as I couldn’t stomach him and Jerry Rice in a dress (or whatever that thing was) any longer. It seems like they are turning the show into one huge joke and it’s a sick one at that!
November 10, 2010 at 11:29 pm #1802453tdogsParticipantis much the same – a popularity contest, I know Simon was PO’d and surprised that the one guy he’d been for didn’t win.
