So Dan finds out that Phil cheated on his daughter. he tells him it was just a one night stand with some secretary at Titan. Now I’m wondering if we’ll have the same thing only with Dan saying, either you tell Melanie or I will! UGH. I cant take anymore of that crap.
What is the purpose of this segment of their story? To through Daniel off the trail of finding out about Philip and Chloe? I missed the dialogue between Philip and the secretary. What actually happened?
Apparently she’s a big slut down at the office as Victor explained it to Daniel. She sat down at Phillip’s table and they were having drinks, Phillip didnt want her there, she kissed him on the cheek when she left and thats what Daniel saw.
closer together because Dan walked in on the woman kissing Phillip (not Phil’s doing at all), and now we find out that Victor knows all about her and Dan is saying he doesn’t want him around his daughter…but this is the first time (I FF’d a lot I know but I would have noticed this), that this woman is on scene. It’s just a ploy of the writers – and it makes me mad…to conjour something up like this story without us knowing about it, not that they haven’t done that before. I don’t like the fact that they wrote Phillip and Mel breaking up before they even got married.
i think the writers simply added this in, so that when the full truth comes out about chloe cheating on him – and that philip took part in it – he’ll assume they got it all wrong (i.e. that, although chloe cheated on him, it wasn’t with philip…that philip cheated with the woman from the office), and won’t be so suprised, until he fully finds out that it was indeed philip with chloe. EITHER THAT, OR…
PICTURE THIS: dan confronts philip – telling him something to the extent of "I KNOW YOU CHEATED ON MY DAUGHTER!" and philip will assume he has found out the truth about him and chloe (since that’s the only woman he cheated on his wife with), and he (philip) will accidentally blab out chloe’s name (e.g. "LOOK, DANIEL! IT WAS ONLY ONE TIME! CHLOE THOUGHT YOU WERE HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH WHAT’S-HER-NAME, AND I THOUGHT I WAS LOSING MEL TO NATHAN!"), and then dan will interrupt him, and be like "WAIT! WHAT…WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY? CHLOE? MY WIFE, CHLOE? YOU AND MY WIFE SLEPT TOGETHER?!" And then philip will then realize he just exposed the truth on himself, and will be like – with a shocked/surprise look on his face – "WAIT A MINUTE! I THOUGHT…[confused look on his face]…UMMM…[and then he’ll try to joke it off] …"DID I SAY CHLOE? FREUDIAN SLIP!" And then Dan will get very angry, and lift philip up by his suit coat, and exclaim…"YOU SON-OF-A-*&^%#! I’M GONNA KILL YOU!"
Bono! That’s a better senerio than what the writers will come up with any day and twice on Sunday! LOL!!!
say something when he saw Philip kissing that woman? That’s not like him at all. He would have walked over to him and said, "What the hellis going on here!"
BTW, she didn’t kiss him on the cheek, she kissed him full on the lips…and he let her.
she kissed him on the mouth, not the cheek. Again, it was so ridiculously shot. There’s Daniel sitting directly behind Philip, which we are to presume Philip does not see (sigh), and he allows this little hussy to not only attempt to seduce him, but allows the kiss to happen. And yes, usually Dan, or anyone else for that matter, would have taken action first and asked questions later; however, for now, Daniel’s only concern is Melanie, so he probably wants to make damn sure he gets the facts straight before he uncovers any wrongdoing on Phil’s part, or beats the hell out of him, either/or. Guess that’s why he gave Victor the third degree about the woman. Now, he’ll probably make his accusations, which will be entirely wrong, more lies will be concocted, and this whole mess of a story line continues to get more and more boring with each passing day.
a gentleman about the kiss…Most guys (I think) who are married and got kissed like that wouldn’t know how to react (us ladies would wallop a guy across the mouth) but guys are a different species…so Phillip just bowed out as gracefully as the situation would allow.
AND…here’s my second take on the totally out of the blue scene…isn’t Vivian out to get Phillip too??? Wouldn’t that be a way for Vivy to get revenge on Phillip by messing with his marriage to Mel? Just thinking out loud…so to speak.
I think we forget that Philip is also a target of Viv’s. She has so many! lol I wonder if Stefano will team up with her too?
I think when Daniel overhears that Phil cheated on Melanie, he will think it’s this woman, and he won’t start grilling him about who it is. It would be too easy for Dan to confront Phil, and then for Phil to confess he cheated with Chloe. We have to draaaaaaaaaaaag it out as long as we can! I do like Bono’s scenario, and I hope it does play out that way. And yes, Bono, I think you should get a pay raise. Maybe they will pay you double what you’re getting now!!
