53tdogs, Did you watch Iron chef last night? I just watched the Chef Symon and Cora battle. havent watched the other Symon battle. He’s just so friendly and personable. I bet he’s like that in RL too. he’s origionally from ohio. usually us ohio people are pretty friendly! tonight starts the DDD series where Guy drives across country back home to celebrate the holidays. I’ll be watching that tonight. they are playing reruns all night too. I like watching them over and over again.
They have a new show with Bizzare foods. but I know you dont watchi it. it’s called dining with Death and it’s on tonight at 10. the most disgusting thing I’ve seen him eat are penises. or blood. those are my most gross out foods. ewwwww!!!! I think I’d eat a bug before I’d try those 2 things. and I cant stand bugs.

December 14, 2010 at 12:50 pm #18984BonbonParticipantMy nephew lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin and has brain damage from a motorcycle accident. He has no short-term memory so has to stay pretty close to home as he lives alone. The State Police bring him roadkill they find (mostly deer) and he cleans it, prepares it, and then cooks it up for the firefighters (both city and forest) and he freezes some for the SP’s families. It keeps him busy, helps him out with his food, as he lives on disability, and also provides those guys with good meals (he’s a very good wildlife cook having grown up in Northern Michigan and doing a lot of hunting). As long as you get roadkill "dressed" within a certain amount of hours, it’s perfectly good to eat. And the SP usually get it quite fast because it normally involves a vehicle vs. animal collision.
Something else he does is catch Canadian geese and cooks them too. You won’t believe how he catches them. He has a large section of cement pipe that he closes off on one end. Then he puts food at the end, the geese go in to get it and…they can’t walk backwards to get out so, voila!, he’s got ’em.
So a roadkill chef probably does already exist in my nephew, well, did, he died last year.
