Who’s the Daddy?

writers are having too much fun (in a non-talent hack writing kind of way) with the never ending hatred of the Hatfields and McCoy battle that Sami and EJ have going on.  Heck, they could write this way for Sami and EJ until Johnny graduates from college or longer, (if the show could or even would be on so long). 

Besides, I don’t ever think they will bring back Lucas, after all, how many times have they written him off the show – about three that I can think of and a bunch of other times that they (writers) underutilized Brian over the years – many times not mentioning him, (Lucas) for weeks at a time. 

other child (besides Will) on the show, she is kind of an afterthought…poor child, maybe she’s lucky to be forgotten on the show, so they don’t give her a disease or have her kidnapped.  She’ll get stuck in her room playing dolls or napping until she’s a sixteen year old vamp to start the story line kicking again.

this is something we asked for (well, at least I did) when Sami was pregnant with the twins.  I said that it would give them great storylines to write until the cows come home.  No, I hope they stay the way they are.  Not enough drama if all three kids are Lucas’.

However, I’d love for it to turn out that Sydney is Nicole’s.  But that would surely take an enormous suspension of belief to pull that off.  (Although if they could make us believe that Georgia/Chelsea survived her death at birth, well, I guess they could feed us anything.)  And that would probably be just the straw that would put Sami over the edge of insanity.  I mean, just how much horrible grief and adversity can one person take?

Dr. Baker could have given Sydney (assuming she is really Nicole’s) and taken Sami’s baby to give to another couple.  After all, that’s the business he was in.  It would somehow have to come out that Sami’s real child comes out into the open and that starts a major round of DNA testing.  As I say, pretty much of a stretch but nothing the writers haven’t done before.

because????  (she says with huge sarcasm!)  I would love it if they untied the ties between Sami and EJ! 

 pregnancy, I don’t see how the baby could have survived without a huge ‘sci-fi’ type story.  It’s not like Nicole miscarried a week or so before Sami delivered her baby.  It was months before Sami’s child arrived.

 under three months (if baby was moving it was in her mind).  She and E.J. were supposed to be going to France on their honeymoon and Stefano made him go on a business trip.  She went on ahead and was settling in at some fancy resort waiting for E.J. to arrive when she went into labor and the miscarriage was taking place then.  I remember Brady carrying her out and blood was on the sofa she was sitting on.  Nicole’s baby had about as much chance of surviving as did Melanie and Nathan having sex while in quarantine, with doctors on hand around the clock, while the two patients were running dangerously high fevers, in and out of consciousness (Nathan when talking to Daniel), shivering to death one minute, and sweating profusely the next, AND, lest we forget, in unbelievable pain with severe headaches, and trembling from head to toe.  Yeah, I know I’d want to be having sex right about then (LOL and SWS).
