I didn’t watch Days "back in the day," so I was wondering, has Kayla always been this annoying and self-righteous?
I can see why she wanted Daniel to know the truth about Parker, but then she turns around and blames Carly for her mom’s stroke when SHE (Kayla) was the one who was putting her into so much stress in the first place.
I don’t get how she blames Carly for this whole debacle, it’s obvious she is mad that Carly is with Bo and wants to see the worst in her at all times. I’m by no means a Carly-lover, but the accusations are very rediculous!
She has always been a beloved, frankly somewhat milquetoast, character in the past. It’s just another example of the writers practicing their character assassination.
Completely agree, drea4713. Kayla was the one who kept nagging her mother to tell the truth. What did Carly do differently than all the others that knew about the affair and hid it as well? Will Kayle be mad at everybody who knew the truth? Carly didn’t even know Chloe cheated with Philip until the reveal. And why isn’t Kayla getting mad at her precious Stephanie? Stephanie not only knew about the affair and knew it was Philip but wanted Ian to change the paternity results but then somebody else already had changed it from Philip to Daniel. Caroline knew more than Carly and changed the results herself. Carly didn’t. Don’t get all that hate there. This makes absolutely no sense at all.
I cant stand Kayla either. I cant stand everyone’s nosyness(sp?) or is that a word? ) and being in everybody else’s business. I dont remember people as being so high and mighty all the time and so many of them at that! there were a few that were holier than thou , like Hope, but it seems like everyone and their brother thinks they are better than everyone else! I cant stand it! Kayla is just mad and hates Carly for breaking up Bo and Hope. Does Kayla know that Bope is on the run now?
For Lord’s sake, Daniel is a doctor, he’s not stupid and he works in a hospital. Seems to me the first thing I would do in his shoes is another paternity test to find out the truth. Of course, then we wouldn’t have weeks and weeks of stupid dialog.
mother and daughter have behaved so obsessively over this paternity issue. Why now is Caroline SO over the top about her past w/Vic and his being the biodad to Bo? This still hasn’t made sense to me.
And Kayla – so high and mighty moral. The intensity of both Brady women has gotten on my nerves.top about Bo and Victor – that she has never forgiven herself, especially since Shawn passed away. Caroline has never dated, or even hinted at liking another guy. She didn’t give Victor even so much as the time of day really when he showed renewed interest in her.
So when Victor moved on with Maggie (or is trying to), Caroline perhaps realized another chance at happiness was gone and that is why she is so bitter and mean-spirited about it. Caroline has doomed herself because of her inablity to forgive and forget to making chowder "all the days of her life".
hands stirred the paternity pot, if that fact comes out, he will decide to do another test, and we’ll find out that Parker really is his and the dumbed down nurse was responsible after all. That would be the the sensible thing to do, but then it would throw off da’ huge plot to reunite Nathan and Melanie.
Whether it comes out that Daniel is the daddy or not doesn’t take away from the fact that Stephanie knew about the test and was going to change the results or the that Chloe and Phillip had sex when Phillip was married to Melanie. So, even if it comes out that Daniel is the daddy it wouldn’t have any bearing on the plot to reunite Nathan and Melanie as the circumstances leading up to everyone thinking that Phillip was the daddy and Stephanie trying to change the test to keep Melanie and Nathan apart are still there.
i wondered the same thing. The first thing I would have done is another paternity test…….guess Daniel doesn’t have the Salem brain this week.
hear correctly that Kayla is returning to Africa. And why did Sami say to Caroline "so good to have you back home grandma", or something to that effect? I thought Caroline was staying with Stephanie in her apartment – Stephanie lives in Salem. Was she just saying "…back home…" meaning pub? I wonder if Kalya will take Stephanie with her when she returns…and that is how she is going to exit the show. I should have paid more attention myself, I know, but I saw Stephanie on – and just tuned out and FF’d.
