I wish the props people would get some new laptops for the characters to use. I only ever see the one with the bullet hole-looking thing and the one with the stripe. These two are continuously used by different characters and it makes me roll my eyes everytime. Like Stephanie would be using the same laptop in her apartment to email Ian that Victor had in his mansion when he was checking out Titan business. If they can’t afford any new ones, I can send them three dead laptops that are junking up my hubby’s man-cave right now! Or at least paint trusty bullet-hole and stripey plain black so the viewer can’t tell the difference!
also, have you ever noticed that they all use the same one or two cell phones as well? They should buy some different covers for them to at least make them look like they’re different phones. Also, has anyone EVER seen a television set in any of their homes or apartments? If they have, I can’t recall who? I don’t even think they have one at the pub, and show me a bar that doesn’t have a TV! LOL.
I do remember a few people had the TV on and caught something on the news but that was about it. I think it was once at Bo and Hopes and maybe Sami when she lived in that apartment across from Lucas and down the hall from EJ.
As far as cell phones I’m sure the entire cast has their own phones why not have them use their personal phones but have the volume off or the entire phones off so there won’t be any chance of them ringing off cue. At least there would be some variety.
I never noticed the laptops, but I have noticed that EVERYONE has the SAME cell phone, it’s so noticeable, they all had the little flip phone, then all of a sudden everyone had the same exact black iphone. or blackberry. noticed that right off the bat. As for tv’s. I recall Marlena having one, remember when she and Sami and Belle were all over at Marlena’s watching old movies after John "died" and I think Belle an Phillip had one in the loft and probably mimi had one too. Phillip and Melanie were listening to the radio when they heard that Bo had broken Hope out off jail.
