    Something I have noticed about this show (don’t know if other soaps are the same) is that nobody ever seems to want to plead their case when their evil deeds are discovered or to even offer up any kind of explanation or reasoning.

    During this Parker fiasco all we hear is, "I’m sorry, can’t you please forgive me," or, "I’ll never do it again/it’ll never happen again."  It’s only human nature to try to make excuses for bad behavior, not cave in and beg and plead.

    Chloe did try to explain about being tricked by Viv.  Steph begged Nathan to let her explain, but made it worse by continuing the lies.  Carly wanted to explain, but Daniel didn’t really want to hear it.
