sorry…….not really. I am from Pittsburgh and LOVE my Steelers! It was a good game though – kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time! It’s a good rivalry!
I was sorry to see that we are on the opposite when it comes to the Steelers and Ravens. When those two play, it is so agressive that it hurts to watch them play. But, it’s always a good game. The Rooney patriarch, Art Sr., is who drew me to the Steelers back in 1970 when I read a story about him. So, I’ve followed them through thick and thin in the winning years and the losing years!
the team I lived and died for in my teen years (despite being from NYS) I think Raiders owner Al Davis made a huge mistake by letting Coach Cable go. He was making great strides this past season, the Raiders began to put some exciting offense together, and he gets the boot.
they earned it. We "dropped the ball" in that game (pun intended). It’s just disheartening to me, because I love football, and truly thought we were going to have ourselves a trip to Dallas for sure. Guess we just have to pick up our marbles again this year, but you are so right about the Steelers/Ravens being remarkably favored rivals to watch anytime they play. I was so crushed when we lost the Colts, but have been in love with the Ravens since they stepped off the bus from Cleveland (no disrespect intended — happens all the time in sports). I have to just pick myself up, dust myself off, and wait till next year to start all over again. LOL!
One of the Deputy’s I work with has his ’63 Ford painted with the Raider’s helmet on the hood and the colors!! It is so cool looking. He takes the ribbing and just keeps on driving it!
