Parker! It looks like we’ve got another cutie pie actor on the show. How in the world do they find these kids? He seems to smile so readily (although we don’t know how long it took to get those shots) and he’s such a sweet, good-natured baby. I wonder if he will turn into another (original) Sydney.
Speaking of Sydney, I wonder how they picked her. Maybe because she is compliant and doesn’t make a fuss because she certainly doesn’t seem to be putting anything into the part. Maybe they just have to get her used to the other actors and what they are doing before they start trying to get her to contribute. They kind of did that with Ali and now she’s starting to have lines.
all kid actors can’t be Shirley Temple Black or even Johnny but this little kid is devoid of emotion…I would have thought through casting calls they would have been able to find a kid that could at least smile once in awhile (in spite of having Sami and EJ for parents).
Did you see Parker "blow bubbles" on his lips the other day? He is a beautiful baby! I couldn’t agree more with Phillip wanting to change his name though…name is silly IMO. Park for short (?) – throw the ball Park, run Park run…nah…just not a good name.
was so charismatic. This older girl just doesn’t do it – she has a bland onscreen personality and I’m not involved with her at all.
Absolutely agree on both counts. It would be nice if that kid would crack a smile once in a while. i dont even recall her smiling when her and Nicole are playing. I loved Sydney as a baby, she was the cutest little girl! she even knew her cues! LOL. and I agree about Parker, he is one cute baby too. you just wanna pinch those cheeks. I wish he had dimples like Phillips! or are you born with dimples? I love it when they show him smiling and laughing when he’s looking at Daniel.
It’s really twin girls who play Parker and they are doing a fabulous job. I loved baby Sydney, she was absolutely the best little baby. But the new Sydney leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe she is just old enough to be a little scared and nervous but hopefully she’ll warm up to the part.
picked this child to play the role. She has no expression other than an almost blank stare. If she was really Sami or EJ’s child, she’d show some reaction when she saw them – even Nicole would get some type of reaction. I’m in a school with pre-schoolers and if I see one doing activities in a room with another teacher and I pop in, I get a reaction from the child within a minute, even when they don’t know who I am. So, I find the reactions really on the strange side. I guess I just don’t find it normal for a child not to want to go to their mother. I know, Sami has passed the kid around a lot but that’s even more reason for the child to have reactions to other people.
as a teenager. I’m really surprised that they make Johnny so loveable and rarely even have his twin sister Allie in a scene. I would think as cute as Sydney was as a baby, they would have bent over backwards to find a really adorable (in acting) toddler.
