Lord Almighty, I almost peed my pants today when E.J. flexed his muscles with R2. It looked so stupid to me both times that E.J. supposedly smacked or clipped him in the face. It was so poorly portrayed, they didn’t even put it on camera, and that tells me that James didn’t want it shown. Otherwise, how is it that the director(s) will have Sami and Nicole punch each other’s lights out time and time again, with no camera pull-backs? James probably thought there’s enough violence to him without seeing him throwing and landing a punch. R2 is pathetic. Where did they get this guy. He’s nothing more than a hound-dog in heat 24/7. And Sami, when a neighbor tells you she just saw your husband being carted away by two men, it deserves at least some looking into. You’re already suspicious. Pretty smart of those DiMeras to see that R2 had the same scar Rafe had when they did his surgery. Still, E.J.’s performance down in the dungeon today with R2 was nothing more than laughable to me. And, finally, Rafe, you were so concerned about Sami that you risked your life to get to her, look through the peep-hole and see R2 slobbering all over your wife, and you stand there and say nothing. Tsk…Tsk…Tsk. CUT……get me a new Director, please!
I don’t care in how rough of shape you are. If you see someone you supposedly love with all of your heart in a bad spot, your adrenaline is going to kick in and you will move heaven and earth to protect them. I know, it’s DA PLOT and they are going to drag it out for weeks. And I’m so sick of watching Sami and R2 get it on. Come on writers, we get it. R2 hasn’t been laid in who knows how long, Sami is hot, etc. Get back to Victor and Maggie which is actually an interesting storyline.

the same thing. I’ve definitely had enough with the sex between Sami and Rafe2. It gives me a very bad feeling that she will be pregnant. These writers have a pattern that they can’t seem to shake and I do believe that’s where this is going. And real Rafe standing there looking through the speakeasy was not how his character would have handled seeing Sami being accosted by Rafe2. He would have at least yelled to Sami to get her attention and stop the whole fiasco. These writers need to be dumped.
I agree with everything said and add to this. They’re keeping Rafe alive so he can give them details on things that they don’t know about and feed them to R2. How did they know about his scar? He got that when Sami was in the Safe House BEFORE EJ and Stefano knew about him so when did they have a chance to see his scar and know exactly where it was. It’s not like it’s something you’d talk about and show people in normal conversation and I don’t remember Rafe ever running around shirtless in front of the DiMera’s.
try all the way up to MAY sweeps. Jason 47 has them still sharing scenes in mid-April, so the belief is that this horrific SL won’t wrap up til’ late spring. (Kill me now, please)!!!
Patti, the only word that comes to mind when I read your reply is "ugh". It looks like Rafe is about to die right now. How in the heck is he going to stay alive until some time in May? Perhaps they are giving him the Salem tea intravenously.
just fast forward all of the Rafe, Sami, EJ, Kate and Stefano scenes. That makes the show watchable.
the transplant doc was in the hospital. No one would have questioned him and he’d know exactly what to report to Stefano and I seem to remember them having a conversation to do with Rafe.
I know this is crazy trying to make sense of anything that pertains to DOOL but if the scar was done when he was in the hospital after the car accident wouldn’t it still be fresh and healing It would be painful and Sami would have noticed it’s not a scar but a fairly fresh wound.
I had a scar revision done and they didin’t cut all the way through the muscle, just removed the scar that was there to try to make it smaller and it’s still painful and takes time to heal and go from that fresh pink state to a normal color. Unless it’s a tattooo to look like a scar.
I know, trying to put some realism into something that’s not real.
I think that’s why E.J. pulled R2 off of him from that beat-down he gave Rafe yesterday. They need to keep him alive; otherwise, he serves no purpose, and neither does this story line (LOL). Rafe is their information tank on carrying out this whole mess, so I would have to imagine at some point they’ll bring in the good doc who created R2 and he will put Rafe back on his feet. You know, we reach a point in a story line where, after 3 or 4 weeks of going round and round the same ole’ crap, we’re done with it … something like Vivian in the sarcophagus; but, I have to say, this one will be with us way longer than that. Galen Gering said in a recent interview that the whole thing was supposed to last 6 weeks, but that they were already still shooting in the 10th week with no finish in sight, and that this will go into late spring, maybe even early summer, before winding up. I think that’s when I sat down in the middle of my living room and just cried.

Right. I mentioned that in an earlier post on this thread. I was talking here about SW’s post that the scar could have been noticed when Doc Ben was still at the hospital and Stefano was questioning him on whether there were any marks on Rafe.
R2 said it was smart to put that scar on him but my question was, if it was added to R2 AFTER Rafe had the accident then the scar would still be fresh and not 2 years old and Sami would have noticed the change in it.
