ParticipantYikes! That looked insane! It was like she was a fortune teller or something. I know Kate gets heat all the time for her wardrobe but come on! When Vivian first arrived back in Salem a few weeks ago she had this pink furry coat on for days and it was hidious, now this scarf thing on her head! Sorry but she looks silly to me.

Participantnot just with her wardrobe but her charactor as well…(think that’s why I like her).

Participanta high end turban……..Very Gloria Swanson like, don’t you think. LOL…..Louise Sorel has said that is sort of how over the top she has been portraying Vivian, (Sunset Blvd, I think was the movie – Carol Burnett used to parody it a lot, lol)

Participantstarts wearing Victor’s curtain’s (like Carol Burnett’s ‘Gone with the Wind’ Scarlett – hysterical) – then I’ll worry about her…the wardrobe folks must be hitting all the Hollywood thrift stores if there is a budget crunch with the show, to dress Viv.

ParticipantViv to Swanson. Likely many on the forum too young to know her, as she was a silent screen star who later made the legendary Sunset Boulevard where she delightfully camped her way to a memorable iconic role. Worth watching.

ParticipantI saw Sunset Boulevard in a film course in college and fell in love with Gloria Swanson. That is an awesome movie and has my favorite movie line of all time, "I’m still big, the pictures have just gotten smaller!"

ParticipantIf I can remember the quote "Who do you think I am Gloria f$%#@^& Swanson"
My favorite movie of all time…

Participantwhen it comes to bizarre wardrobe. Still, I must say, she pulls it off. Louise is perfect for the role, in my book.

ParticipantI did get a good laugh out of that myself, but I must say, I thought she looked gorgeous otherwise!

Participantdid a whole segment on Gloria Swanson, and in it, there was a snip of an interview with Bob Newhart, who talked about Sunset Blvd. Swanson received an Academy Award (plus other awards) for that role.

Participantand had to look it up on Google. Anyway, even though she pulled it off, I still thought it looked pretty silly. Maybe Wardrobe can take it apart and make it into something else. Retire the babooshka thing.
