Why would Daniel say he gave Chloe the wrong drug? Even given that she didn’t take the pills, it was hardly long enough to have kicked in if she did.
February 25, 2011 at 3:33 pm #21228luckeyParticipantthem back for disposal and to get the correct meds? Sounds like another stupid story line again.
February 25, 2011 at 9:55 pm #2123353tdogsParticipantconversation about the "wrong" prescription and they were speculating if he should have given her an alternative medication. A practicing doctor knows what he is giving his patient, they look it up or have used the medication before and know what it does. Otherwise, the doctor would be calling his attorney lickty-split and his malpractice insurance company!!!
February 25, 2011 at 10:18 pm #21238BonbonParticipanttrying a tested medicine but one that just didn’t happen to help out Chloe and he knows there is an alternative that might have been better. I didn’t make much of that comment other than someone in Salem is always blaming themselves for something they have no control over.
She should have just taken the damn meds to see if it would help. Dumb, dumb, dumb!
February 26, 2011 at 1:40 am #21253PattiParticipantPhilip was just assuming that Chloe’s attempted suicide was a result of the medication, mixed with her depression emotions. Even at that, he had no idea she washed the drugs down the drain. He just assumed she took them. I hope he rips Kate a new one once he knows she was the one who talked Chloe into disposing of the meds. Then, even though she had no idea what Chloe was going to do, Melanie must share the blame for conspiring with Kate, and having Daniel realize that, as well as not realizing how serious Chloe’s depression really was, will probably cause her to open the door to her own karma. She and Kate certainly are due some pay-back for what they drove Chloe to do, even though I think most of her depression was more from Daniel’s turning his back on her than Parker. I don’t think for a minute that she doesn’t love Parker. She felt she was doing the best for her baby by taking herself out of his life. Nadia is doing a remarkable acting job in this story line.
February 26, 2011 at 3:35 am #21261majencoParticipantI am so glad they are finally giving Chloe a decent storyline. Something other than the usual damsel in distress (or "this dress") storyline. I hope they can keep it going.
February 26, 2011 at 12:23 pm #21264BonbonParticipantPhilip won’t do anything to Kate for this conspiricy. How many times have both he AND Lucas totally disowned her yet they still put up with all her crap. My God, she tried to poison Chloe before, there should be a restraining order against her.
I was just glad she finally told Philip that she washed the pills down the drain. And I was so hoping they were giving her the anti-depresants in the hospital, although I don’t believe they’d really work that fast. But at least it’s showing Chloe that they DO help her. I hope she’s well on her way to recovery now so this storyline isn’t dragged out like most of the others are.
February 26, 2011 at 2:33 pm #21277PattiParticipantI don’t know if Kate’s that strong or her children are that weak; but, damn, wouldn’t it be nice to see some payback …… JUST ONCE ….. and that goes for any of the show’s true villains, instead of having to watch the ones who do the least damage be the ones who pay the most. I know I would.
