The one thing I’ve noticed about Chloe over the past two weeks is the toned down clothing and no make-up!!! Yeah! It’s like someone realized that depressed people aren’t getting themselves all dolled up. She really looks the part of someone who was suicidal and depressed. Bravo to Nadia, she’s beautiful with or without the make-up!

It’s distracting to watch when the actors persona doesn’t match the story line ~ and yes, Nadia is beautiful with or without makeup.  I’m glad the writers and directors got a clue!

they made Melanie look the part of someone who had had a miscarriage. She was moving around slowly, looked disheveled, and her face was all red from crying.

characterize Mel, she always, in almost every scene that she has ever been in looks and acts the same way.  Mel always looks like she is about ready to cry, gets that pouty mouth, with her mouth all twisted up.  Seriously, go back (if you’ve save the tape or YouTube it) and look at most of her scenes.  All the way back to when she was in France.

I’m feeling more of a geunineness to this character. She was always desperately plotting to hang onto Daniel which made her come off as one-dimensional. It would be nice if we could see some layers of depth unfolding.

hard to watch her.  I wonder if she just tries to show too many teeth for her small face?  If this is an insult to the actress, please remove it or let me know and I’ll do it.

That was complimentary compared to what posters think of Melanie on some other boards I read.  She is torn from limb to limb on a daily basis every day she is on, which is a lot.  But, when I think about it, why do I get the feeling she’s not acting out a role, but in most instances merely giving us the real Molly Burnett?  LOL.

Yes, this is a big improvement for someone who’s supposed to be suffering from depression, post-partum or not.  The silly thing that I couldn’t get past was that Chloe left the oven on while she was baking cookies. ????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  First of all, I don’t see her baking or eating a lot of cookies.  Secondly, Parker’s too young to eat them.  Lastly, anyone suffering from PPD and trying to adjust to the demands of a newborn would never have the time, inclination, or motivation to bake cookies!  Trust me, been there, got the T-shirt.  The same thing with baking lasagna the day she got back from the hospital.  The first couple of weeks, it’s take-out and punching meal tickets (our neighborhood term for the meals taken to new moms and the sick!).  For the first time in a long time, I’m feeling some sympathy for Chloe, who is finally starting to seem real.  I actually didn’t mind her with Brady the other day, especially the new, complex Brady.
