I was watching the scene yesterday with Kate and Vivian where Vivian said something about Ally (sp?). Then my phone rang, and I muted it. When I came back, they both were wearing cake! My questions are:
1. How much does Vivian know about Stef’s plot, and how?
2. What did she tell Kate, and what was Kate’s reaction (besides cake!)?
I’ve thought they would probably sweep the whole Stephano getting rid of Ally story under the rug, which would really be a shame. I can’t imagine anything much more explosive than Kate finding out that Stephano was going to take her granddaughter away! Hell would have no fury!

And speaking of Japan, I hope they are both safe considering the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear meltdown. Maybe they should both come home to Salem so that they can be safe. I need some Lucas humor, especially up against smarmy EJ.

Viv knows how to push Kate’s buttons, so she throws little Allley into the fishbowl and what comes out??? A raging piranha named ‘Kate’ who would stop at nothing to get whatever information she now believes Vivian knows, but she does not. Get a grip, Kate, you know this woman too well to fall for that. She one-upped you with that bait, and you fell for it, hook, line and sinker.

March 26, 2011 at 6:12 pm #2214753tdogsParticipantshe’d plot and stomp on Vivy in a round about way to where Vivy would never see it coming…Kate is not the full frontal attack type, she’s more of a hurt you when you aren’t looking type. I’m referencing this on the chocolate brownies and other devious things she’s done. While I love both Vivy and Kate, I sure hope that Stefano doesn’t take up with Vivian if Kate does not win in this "-itch" slap fest.

March 26, 2011 at 10:10 pm #22158BonbonParticipantmention Allie. As far as I can remember, she has no idea that anything was going on with her. As far as anybody but Kate and Sami know, she just went to visit Lucas. I don’t think that could even have been a far-out guess on her part.
Another case of the writers trying to make us buy into something that’s never happened.

So it’s no where near Japan. Just a little history for ya. I really doubt that they would mention the Japan disaster, one, because they tape so far in advance, and two, because it is too touchy of a subject to bring up on a fictional show…IMO anyway.
Yes, it would be nice if Lucas came back but I’m guessing that the actor is doing other stuff at the moment, IDK. But yeah, Lucas would make an interesting addition to all the crap that’s going on lately, and it would be nice if he were around for Will and the rest of his family as well. I think Jen could really use him right now. Aren’t they half-brother and sister? I think so.

I think it would be great if Titan and the DiMeras would take a break from all the other things that they all do and even just mention in passing that they are helping the less fortunate – it might inspire the watching audience if the Salemites would be helping in Hati or Japan or American Cancer Society or something for charity.
The Horton Foundation that Tom and Alice put together all those years ago – that would be a great spot for Maggie and Jennifer to collaberate on together. Some thing positive and good would be very nice to see in Salem once in awhile – life is great and happiness lies within and helping others is wonderful for one’s spirit – seems like Salemites are in always such a downer mode in spite of all their riches, wine, wo(men) and songs.
March 27, 2011 at 7:02 pm #22195JennyK35ParticipantYeah you’re right. There’s a lot of stuff they could do for that. I remember after 9/11, they did a tribute about it at the end of the show, I think the cast sang the national anthum or something with Chloe leading. But it was well into October because of when they tape…by the time 9/11 happened, that’s where they were. So who knows, maybe they will do something for Japan once they get into April sometime. It happened on 3/11/11 I think, so by late April maybe. It would be nice if they did, but then again, they didn’t do anything for Haiti last January or the tsunami at Indonisia either. I would like to see them do stuff like that, or at least work it into the show, like you said. Friends did that after 9/11, Joey was wearing a sweatshirt that said "FDNY."
