They have been away forever!  Seems ridiculous that they don’t even know Ciara.  They are never even mentioned!  Of course, Eric never visits either.  Did Carrie go back to Switzerland?  I forget – she was here and then she wasn’t!  Brady never mentions going to visit his dad either.  At least Sami is going to see Eric so we know he’s still alive!

former characters than bring on new characters (such as Dario).

so lamely written and the acting leave so much to be desired.  Not trying to knock anyone, but it’s quite obvious that several of the newer characters/actors are just not making it happen.

but for me only if the originals returned, which I think is unlikely.

I would love belle and Shawn back too, but with me it’s Martha Madison.  I loved her.  liked her much more than the original Belle.  The original Belle fit in more when they were in high school,  the rich little spoiled girl who was voted most popular.  I liked either Shawn!   I would be happy with John/Marlena or Belle/Shawn!

say that she has been cast in a more gritty role and has matured into a pretty good actress, much more so than the character she portrayed on Days.  I can’t imagine that she would ever come back to play Belle.

I feel the same as someone else who remarked they’d rather see Martha Madison if they were to return.  If they have to recast them, don’t bother.

but I’d rather have Martha back as Belle.  They would have to recast Shawn D., because Brandon Beemer is still on contract at The Bold and The Beautiful, I believe.

also contracted as a character on GH too.  I can’t remember the actor’s name.

because I much prefered the first Belle. Martha was fine, but I thought she was a bit too mature for the character. I felt KB had more life and charisma.

Regardless of what TPTB think, there was a lot of story left to tell with Belle and Shawn D. They had just started their life and the shipped them off–literally! They both have roots in Salem, so it’s not like a character with no history. I liked Kirsten Storms and Martha Madison grew on me, so I would be happy with either one in the role. I preferred Jason Cook’s Shawn to Brandon Beemer, but maybe that was because he was always so gloomy when he was Shawn. I do recall the few scenes he had with Nadia (Chloe) and they obviously have a lot of chemistry off and on screen so, BB seemed to shine around her. Oh what could have been!

What irks me the most is that they’re never even mentioned.  Every time Bo and Hope talk about family, it’s Zack and Ciara.  What about Shawn, Belle, and their daughter (whose name escapes me??).  And to correct someone, I think that they left about the time Ciara was born, didn’t they?

For the record, on unnamed people, I also found it strange that when Sami was worried about Rafe2’s personality changes from the car accident, why didn’t she call her mom, a trained psychiatrist, to ask her?  Wouldn’t that be better than talking to Kayla, etc?

And, wasn’t Carrie in one scene a few weeks ago when she talked to Sami on the phone?  Why did we have the actress on for just one scene??

Belle’s daughter = wasn’t she Claire Kirakis or did they change her name to Brady?
