Well they are singing Songs from movies. Paul was first, i thought it sucked, he looks like a freakin chicken with his head cut off dancing across the stage! he should have done what they said, come on stage sliding in on his feet in his underware! Stefano was AWESOME! He definetly showed the judges something this week. Lauren was good as always, Scotty too, he sang George Strait, I Cross My Heart, which was my first dance song at my wedding! I loved it! Casey was good too, sang some jazz song. played his bass.
Jacob sang Bridge over Troubled Waters, it was ok, Clay Aiken sang it better IMO. I loved his last few notes though, those were the best part of the whole song. And JAMES was AWESOME as usual!!! OFF to go vote! Scotty, Lauren, and James!! And STefano!
so many times this year in the competition. Usually, I like one from the start and stick with that one, but this not this year. Right now, I’m ready to send all the guys home and just vote for the two girls. They were the best tonight in my opinion, with Scotty coming in at 3rd.
for me gotta go. I liked Paul at first but he’s gotten kind of silly IMO. Hayley did nothing to forward herself with that Blondie song.
I loved Casey tonight. I know everyone likes Stefano, me too, but he seems to force songs too much. Scotty his usual supreme self. Lauren okay. I did like Jacob tonight. James definitely a force w/the headbanger.
I loved how Jimmy called out Jacob on that arrogant statement of last week.I find myself changing my opinion of this group from week to week. I did like Jacob last night, when most weeks I think he should be in the bottom 3. I’ve been criticizing Stefano from week to week, because I think he chooses good songs, but attempts to sing them in too high of a key and always seems to be straining. Not last night, though. He was right on key and was perfect with Boyz-2-Men’s "End of the Road." Loved it. I have to say, Casey is the one who I change my mind about week to week. Last night he was great with "Nature Boy," and his special talent to make a song something new by giving it that ‘light jazz’ twist is just perfection. Sorry to say, though, I don’t think he’ll win it, but, like Pia, some big time record producer will grab him up, regardless, as will most of these kids this year. The talent in this group is like nothing I’ve heard in any season until now. I adore Scottie … have from the start … and that young man will be performing at the Grand Ole Oprey before he can say "Thank ya’ …. thank ya’ very much." Haley’s song choice was bad this week, so she’ll probably land in the bottom 3, along with, and this is just my guess, maybe Casey, who again I’m shocked gets through because of the very young voters, no matter how hard the judges push for him, and perhaps …. hmmmmm ….. Paul. Lauren seems to be everybody’s little sweetheart; but … sorry to say, not mine. I like her voice, and she is getting better, but she’s never been a favorite of mine. Steven Tyler seems to adore her, though. James, my man, you just keep on rockin’ it; AND THEN THERE’S PAUL ….. ugh. It will ALWAYS be my opinion that he should have been FIRST to go.
I have to agree Patti, I thought James was the best, followed by Scotty, who sang one of my all time favs. which was my first dance song at my wedding. I thought Jacob was ok, his last few notes were really good. good song choice, but i still think Clay Aiken sang it better. I am liking Lauren more, she used to get on my nerves too and i didnt care for her, but her singing won me over. she doesnt remind me of Kelly Pickler, she annoyed the crap out of me, and i didnt like her singing either. like a Paris Hilton wannabe. Paul needs to go, where in the world does he get those stupid suits? STeven’s closet? is he trying to be like Elton John? I cant believe the judges loved that preformance! ugh. but then again, they loved Fantasia too. I hope he goes tonight. but not holding my breath. Haley, i’m on the fence about, she’s ok one week and so-so the next. i like her better than Paul though but she’ll probably be in the bottom again. not sure about Casey, wasnt crazy about his preformance, he was growling a bit again. but he made it his own, although i’ve never heard the origional version of that song. I voted for James, Stefano, Lauren, and Scotty.
