Everybody seems to be having so much more fun this year than ever before.  Even Ryan Seacrest seems to be much more happy with the show than he ever was in the past.  And these judges better not ever leave until the show goes off the air, and that’s all I’ve got to say about that.

My favorite last night was, once again, James.  This young man impresses me beyond belief.  To be in that type of control with Tourettes is a feat within itself, but then to have that kind of talent to perform in the way that James performs is amazing to me.  I will be very disappointed if he doesn’t win.

Scotty, of all the songs available to you from the 21st century, and although I love you to pieces, I hope you didn’t hurt yourself last night with that selection.  Remember, it’s "crunch" time and you should have picked a better song, IMO.

I don’t know if Jacob got bugged by a bad feedback in his earpiece, but it really threw him off.  I absolutely love "Dance With My Father" by Luther Vandross, and although Luther is right up Jacob’s alley, he did not do well with his attempt at all.  Bottom 3 pick tonight.

Haley, she runs from hot to cold to warm to back to cold/hot for me.  Last night she was definitely NOT hot, luke warm maybe, because some weeks I love her.  Last night I didn’t.  Bottom 3 pick for me.

Stefano’s stage presence is getting better for me.  At least he’s keeping his eyes open most of the time.  Neo was a good choice for him, but he didn’t rock it like I think he could have.  Just okay for me.  You might have to take a seat in the bottom 3 chairs again tonight.

Casey, I wish I could see improvement in you from week, but, although I think you’re great, I hope you haven’t reached your peak, because last night’s performance did not give me high hopes for you to be in the final 2.  Again, you do what people expect you to do ever week.  I don’t know what in the hell Randy is talking about.

Lauren, your song selection might have won you a seat in the bottom 3 tonight.  Go back to the way you sang to and with Steven when you auditioned.  That was a good call and good advice for you.  That’s when you were great.  Instead of building your confidence, you seem to be losing more and more of it from week to week.  Even Jimmy (the producer) sees it.  J-Lo’s seen it for weeks now.  And I even think that Steven’s starting to notice it.  You have the voice, but you’re not using it to your potential, IMHO.  I think all the little teen/tween voters love you, though.  You’re like the next Miley Cyrus to them, too.

I have not liked Hayley all season. But last night I felt she sang the absolute perfect selection. Her best for me. I also loved Stef’s first half of the song. Then, as I always hate, he let the chorus take the lead while he just added background, which detracted. Still, I love his voice and believe he may have the best pop recording sound of the lot.
Scotty, agreed, too much of a throwaway choice. James his usual impressive self. Jacob was not bad though my criticism is he rushed the song too much.
Lauren was weak, sounding like any number of B-list country girls. She needs to let it rip or she will lose.
Casey – okay, didn’t thrill me.
Love love love the judges this year. Best ever on AI.

I agree, I liked Haley last night, I usually dont.  I loved Casey, he was my favorite next to James.  who was awesome as usual.  You guys are right, Scotty was good, but yeah it was safe.  same with Lauren, but I dont see her in the bottom. Probably Haley again,  she just doesnt seem popular.  I didnt like Jacob at all last night.  I think he will be in the bottom again, i hope. over all it was a good show though. Stefano was ok too, yes he’s getting better with his stage presence, but man was he HOT in that black t-shirt!
