What does everyone think? My first impression is she’s a better actress, but other than that, I’ll have to see more of her.
She reminds me physically of that girl who was the mobster’s daughter. Can’t recall her name.That’s because it’s the same person who played her.
I didn’t like her then, I don’t like her now. Let’s just send Taylor back to wherever it was she came from.
at my stupidity. For some reason I got it wrong. I thought Taylor was going to be played by the original actress who played her way back when. No wonder I was having a hard time figuring how she would do in the same role!
think she ever really talked with a strong voice. This actress did a good job as Ava, even though I didn’t like the character. I’ll reserve judgement for awhile. I don’t even know why the brought Taylor back except to give EJ another love interest instead of Sami. Maybe it was the viewers who were tired of the ping-pong relationship of Sami and EJ and their continuous complaining that finally got the attention of the writers.
when she played the roll of Ava! She’s a really good actress, and – although I haven’t watched more than 30 minutes of DOOL in approximately two months – I’ll definitely have to start back! Woohoo!
The acting is a gazillion times better already. Really liked her scenes with Lexi, and I know what’s in store for this storyline down the road, and Tamara will do a much better job with it than Natalia would have. I think Natalia is a beautiful girl, but I’ve seen her as three characters in 2 soaps now, and she would never have been able to pull off the way they’re going to take Taylor. The right actress is in the role, but I don’t see any great chemistry with E.J. yet, but did read that James loves working with TB. I’m more interested in seeing Nicole DiMera turn back into Nicole Wlker ….. now that’s going to be worth waiting for. I will say one thing for Tamara a little on the critical side, and that’s the fact that she’s way too thin. She definitely did not appear to be that thin when she was playing Ava. I was hoping I would see some sparks between her and James, but so far I haven’t. Time will tell in that department, but I’m more interested in the storyline behind it than I am in what the actors look like together, although James and Natalia have been a huge disappointment for me. But, believe me, Hurricane Nicole is on its way.
to see chemistry when this relationship was entirely forced. It was not believable from day one and I’m not interested at all, except to see the resulting fireworkds when Nicole figures it out.
But yes, as an actress this incoming Taylor is so much better. As a character, not convinced yet.I guess that I am missing something, cause I did not see this huge difference in the acting level of Nu-Taylor. I am willing to wait until giving a final decision, but so far the acting seems ordinary. I really don’t care about any chemistry betwee she and EJ cause I have no use for EJ. He is consumed with having what he wants. He was so concerned aobut his children having a good mother in Nicole and now he couldn’t care less. To me he is the worst.
I still dont see ANY chemistry between New Taylor and EJ. however, i do like Tamara better. She’s a more edgier Taylor, the other actress couldnt pull that off. She’s a goodie goodie. I am sooo excited to have Nicole kick some ass. I think that she’ll turn in EJ now, maybe if she hadnt cought them kissing she might not, but now she’s out for blood. i think she’ll blow the Rafe SL out of the water. I cant wait. I also cant wait for Sami to see Both Rafes!!
Tomorrow is the first day of "Sweeps" — (April 28th through May 27th) … and from what I’ve seen regarding the build-up, we’re in for some good stuff coming our way in the next 4 weeks. At least I hope we are. Hell hath no fury like Nicole Walker scorned.
And I’m glad to see her back, but she does look a lot thinner than I remember her being. Hope she’s okay and can put on a few pounds. Too beautiful of a woman to wither away.
Can’t wait to see what she does with the character of Taylor. Welcome back Tamara!
Actually she was very thin when she played Ava, too. In fact, she may have even been thinner then. I remember first tuning in when she started that role and I was very surprised at how thin she got. When she was on General Hospital she had a lot more weight on her from what I remember. I think she’ll be good as the new Taylor.
but, she is just too darned old to be Nicole’s little sister. And honestly, I’m still associating her with looney Ava. I’m just waiting for her to pull a gun out on somebody or cause a plane to crash.
