I have a love hate relationship with Sami. I love to hate her. I had to smile yesterday when R2 gave her a good bashing a about her own behavior! The twins with 2 daddies and going back to EJ a second time and all. R2 may be a pig but he was spot on with that analysis. I cheered.
it turned out to be a sort of non-response. She just kind of side-stepped it and kept attacking him; but, he nailed it to a T when describing her dysfunctional life.
Sami may have done a lot of things she’s not proud of in her life, but she’s never been an aduletress. The character of Sami takes a lot of flack from a lot of people, and this board is calm compared to most, but I think she’s come a long way throughout the years, and I find myself very sympathetic to her when she finally realizes what the DiMeras and Rafe2 have done to her and to Rafe. I hope she gets the best of them all, and in the end gets to be happy with Rafe, because I believe her when she says she has finally found the one man with whom she has been completely happy and truly loves, unconditionally. I say she needs a break.
away with a lot of horrendous actions against others; but, if the writers let them get away with what they did to Sami, it will be beyond explanation in my opinion. Having replaced her husband with someone else and causing her to be "raped" by him has been very difficult for many viewers to have had to watch during this whole story line. For that alone, I feel the writers owe us to see the Dimeras pay for that crime! However, knowing how this never happens; I’m not holding my breath.
the only thing I can think of as punishment is if Sami could get total custody of the kids. That would cut both EJ and Stefano off at the knees. I think that would hurt them more than anything else they could do. I mean, just think how miserable Hope was without being able to be with Ciera.
I agree that the real Rafe has changed Sami for the better. That doesn’t change the fact that she has quite a spotted history, rape or no rape, she dressed as Stan and got John hooked on drugs deliberately! That was cruel! I like the minor changes she has made but she has a long way to go before she will ever be able to call anyone else out on their bad behavior.
Sami has improved a little, but she has a long way to go before she can judge anyone else on their bad behavior. If you look up the word ‘dysfunctional’, you will find a picture of Sami. She always manages to blame someone else for everything that she does.
