Well it’s the saddest time of the year…..the end of AI. until January. I will enjoy my last 2 hours. Good so far. SCOTTY WILL WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scotty and Jack Black were hillarious!!! who knew Jack could sing so well! at least i didnt think he was that bad! perfect pairing with Casey. Jacob i thought looked like Peewee herman dancing in that suit!!!!!! JAMES JUsT ROCKED!!!! Now he can sing that high and it sounds good, unlike another so called "rocker’ who tried to be like James. lol. Haley was awesome too. So pretty and loved that dress! i thought it was cute they danced together. Now Scotty is singing with Tim McGraw! AWWW !!!
SCOTTY WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO HAPPY!!!!!! he’s so down to earth. i thought that was funny Jack black waitin for a hug. lol. he kept singin that song and hugging everyone on the way. I’m buyin his CD when it comes out!!
results front and center – so now I don’t have to wait another two and a half hours to celebrate (I just have to make sure not to tell any of my friends here on the west coast) But YEAH Scotty! Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
He and James were my favs from the getgo so I’m thrilled for him. I believe America got it right this time. Will be hard to top this season.
Hey, how bout that sultry Jen and hubby Marc? Talk about sizzle!!This was the BEST finale so far. Usually we turn it on but find other things to do and only watch the last few minutes when they announce the winner but not this year. The guest they had were decent and the contestants were great. I even liked the group numbers. I’m so glad Scotty won. Did you hear him say he and Lauren auditioned together and they’ve been together throughout the competition and will stay together. Then when he was singing and hugging the contestants and he got to Lauren he said I Love You Baby. Maybe it’s the closeness in their ages but it seems they really became good friends and do care for each other. They also sing great together so I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t record a duet at some time.
it was a great show, except for a couple preformances, the one rapper, but he was only on for a couple seconds, and lady gaga, i missed that part, but i have it on dvd, but they said that she looked like she was going to make love to him. i’m watching it now, why does she have to be half freakin naked every performance? Totally inappropriate for tv IMHO. little kids watch this show for crying out loud. thats horrible. i cant believe they showed that. i mean she’s a good singer, but totally inappropriate.
Other than that the show was awesome! I loved the flashbacks of the judges! Yes Jen and Marc were quoting Randy JAckson, H-O-T HOT!!!!!!!!!!!! Woah! she can sure shake her bootie! I was telling my other friends that i’m surprised that Steven, Randy and Ryan were able to stand up after that! They are hot! Very very good show. Now we have to wait til Janurary
I felt the same way about Lady Gaga. At first with that thing on her head I thought she looked like a lamp in a bordello. Then when the camera when back and she was laying down with that guy stradling her I got sick. The best part of that performance was when they jumped off the platform they were on.
As Jennifer was dancing I asked Don how Marc could be comfortable with his wife dancing like that. His response; "they get paid good money to do it". I guess but I don’t really know how any man would be OK with other guys looking at his wife dressed like that and moving like she did. I loved their kiss at the end.
I dont know why J-lo’s preformance didnt bother me like gaga’s did. it was just about as racey. who knows. maybe becuase they are husband and wife. and she was dancing for him. From what i saw about Ladygaga she’s half naked every performance, like the one the kids were watching in the mansion. i couldnt believe my eyes on that one where she was freakin makin love to the piano! does she dress that way in every concert?? i’d never go see her , this is really the first time i’ve seen her. Heck, J-lo had more clothes on during her dance. and thats how J-lo dances, shakes her bootie!
Read in an article this morning that Scotty wants Lauren to do some duets with him on his first album He said they met the first day in Hollywood and have been friends ever since and they sound good together.
Don just read that his first priority is one more class to get his H.S. diploma. I guess he’s got his head on straight and knows he’ll need that if his career doesn’t take off. He said he left Garner, N.C. as Scotty and he’s still Scotty.
I’m just watching it FF’d (because I already knew who one due to a spoiler on my home page last night). I was just going to rewind and watch the last seven minutes of it just to see Scotty win, but instead I decided to just FF’d through it. OH my gosh folks – I almost missed my all time favorite Tim McGraw (see him in concert every chance I get) singing my all time favorite song "Live Like You Were Dying" with Scotty! What a treat! I may have to save that one on my DVR!!!
If James couldn’t win it, I’m more than happy that Scotty did. I’ve been rooting for those two guys since the first time I heard them in auditions. Contrats, also, to AI for one FABULOUS finale.
