If they’re getting rid of 5-6 characters (not recurring) who would you like to see go, figuring Carley and Vivian are 2 of them we need 3-4 more.

If it’s not one of these characters then I’d go with Caroline, unless they can bring her back to the way she use to be and not this vindictive busybody she is now or Chloe if they can’t write anything more for her than to be the perpetual pathetic victim.

Chloe (i agree with you about Chloe if they keep writing her like this I just want her gone).
Jack (even though he isnt back yet) and Jenn, she’s just annoyed me since she’s been back.

I could add several more, but these three would help a lot.
Jack is probably going to be around for awhile. The Jack, Jennifer, Dr Dan triangle is on its way. There is probably a lot more to Jack’s disappearance than just the "walkabout" .
The Melanie "Nurse Practitioner" storyline is science fiction. Give her a consistent personality or git rid of her.
Brady is doing very little. Involve him with John or turn the business back to Victor and get rid of the character.
Kate no longer has any chidren to deal with. Ship her off to see Billie for awhile.
It sounds like the head writing team change means a softening of the Will gay storyline. If it doesn’t pan out Will will probably go live with his dad for awhile.
