Ok, seriously, I am so sick of the Casey Anthony case. I was already tired of it two years ago when I had to deal with helicopters flying near my house for weeks on end (my house is a couple miles away from the parents house), but now I can’t watch days in high def. I am stuck watching it on digital channels or SOAPnet. For the past two days they have been playing the trial instead of Days of Our Lives. They have the case on about 10 channels inclusing another channel owned by our local NBC Affiliate. But I guess they decided they had not tied up enough channels and needed to add another one. Annoying. The whole case is a tragity. What that mother did to her daughter, how her parents handled it, and now the stupid defense they are using to try to get her off. But does it have to consume our lives?!? I have my owen problems to worry about, I don’t need to watch someone elses real trainwreck of a life.
June 9, 2011 at 9:50 pm #24361caseyParticipanton that narcissistic excuse for a mother. And the drowning in the pool defense we never heard about for the past 2-3 years.
But I can understand your being fed up with the trial – it’s covered everywhere and on every talk show.
I just hope no one on the jury gets bamboozled into thinking Casey is innocent.June 9, 2011 at 11:35 pm #24368majencoParticipantShe is evil. She did it and is throwing her father under the bus. It’s sad.

I think her narcissism is from being a spoiled brat her entire life. I don’t see fear in any of her actions or interactions with her brother and parents, just an attitude of entitlement. I haven’t seen a lot of the coverage, but as far as I know, the family hasn’t spoken out against the allegations. I guess they are torn between saving his reputation or their daughter from death row. I think she has manipulated them once again. They also had Alan Dershowitz on, saying that her conviction would eventually be overturned because the cop who drove her to look for the "babysitter" didn’t mirandize her before carrying on a conversation with her in the police car. Unbelievable. It’s the "legal" system, not the "justice" system.
June 10, 2011 at 2:28 pm #24401caseyParticipantthough I hadn’t heard that one. I would think if that were true, there would have been more talk about it and would she have sat in jail all that time?
June 10, 2011 at 3:09 pm #24410GoodyParticipantto show some emotion yesterday and this morning. I think that the defense team encouraged her to cry and look sad just to influence the jurors. She has looked as if she is crying and upset just for the last 2 days; nothing before that. I think all her concern is for HERSELF!!!
I think she is guilty, and I am watching the trial each day. I try to catch up on "Days" later at night on SoapNet.

I am just over it because of living here in Orlando and that is all we have heard about since it happened. I just can’t stand Casey’s face. I guess also having twins recentely and one with a lot of medical issues, I just can’t understand how she could do what she did.
I just don’t understand why they have to have it on 10 different channels. I think 2 or 3 would be enough. People who wanted to watch it could watch it, but people like me who really have no desire to watch it can watch their normal shows. I know that nationally it is not played on 10 different stations, it is just the lucky ones like me who live in Orlando that get stuck with it on every station. I feel like I can’t get away from the case.

June 15, 2011 at 10:00 pm #24560IzzyBParticipantSo to those of you who are watching it, how long do you think I am going to be stuck in digital world instead of High Def? I am so not used to TV that is not in High Def, my TV does not do well with digital it is very fuzzy and kind of annoying. I am thinking of watching Days on my one non-high def TV to make it look better, but it is in the guest bedroom with no device to tape days on it.
June 16, 2011 at 11:40 pm #24607GoodyParticipantway to even guess the number of defense witnesses or the time it will take to question them. I’m guessing it will be weeks more before the trial is complete.
