Jen and Carly’s scenes were very well done today. Very realistic, dramatic, yet not over the top. I could feel Carly’s pain and Jen’s frustration with her. I thought Jen handled the situation exactly the way it should have been handled. Good job ladies.
It looks like Daniel and Melanie are going to find out but they are so good at keeping secrets (i.e. Brady beating up EJ) they should easily keep Carly going into rehab a secret. I don’t think there’s any way she could keep her license and continue to practice if it comes out that she’s addicted to drugs.

They were awesome. but man Carly sure woke up fast after a drug overdose. she looked the like she was the devil when she finaly woke up. and then she perked right up for a while when she was yelling at Jennifer. I posted this on the annex board too.

Sort of like Sami, though in a different way Jenn seems stuck on about 20 years old for me. And those puffed sleeved blouses don’t help in the maturity dept.
I did have to laugh at the way Carly came alert so quickly!July 27, 2011 at 11:06 am #25439PattiParticipantI did have to laugh out loud when we saw Jennifer shove that bar of soap in Carly’s mouth, though. Actually, I read it was white chocolate (which CC happens to love), melted and shaped to look like a bar of soap. In any case, good scenes by both CC and MR. I have been less than impressed with MR since her return, and feel Dena Higley was ruining this character. She was very convincing to me yesterday that she cared more about helping her dear, practically life-long, friend with her addiction than she did about Daniel or Jack or anyone else for that matter. Once again, very real emotions and true-life actions on the part of the actresses. As a matter of fact, it was sort of along the lines of Nicole and Kate yesterday, where I felt like saying out loud (which I did, by the way), ‘now THIS is what I’m talkin’ about.’ It was pure emotion coupled with believability on the part of all 4 superb actresses yesterday. Great job by all, along with direction. I’d say the show is on the right track, for sure.

Jen is not a doctor and had no idea what Carly had taken or how long she had been there unconscious. Soap in her mouth?? Give me a break. Loved the yelling and the slap, that was much more realistic. But Jen’s behavior during this crisis was very irresponsible.
