September 26th Finally Here

So the day is finally here.  I worked the last two weeks to catch up by reading, watching, and fast fowarding (I was behind about 20 episodes) and I finally caught up yesterday.  So I watched the episode already because I was so excited.  I really liked it.  I felt it had a vibe of the old parties with all the characters their.  The badies showing up (EJ) and no one wanting them there, the romances blooming or continuing, the trouble lurking (Jack), the surprises (charctaers coming back), etc.  It will be interesting to see where it goes from here but the SLs coming up look interesting.  We have the papers on the floor (can’t wait to see what they are and the mystery that I am sure will follow with Bope), Sami’s job search and eventual job, the re-election SL, Nicole/EJ possible pairing, Will/Gabby SL and how it plays out with how he is trully feeling, and then just the interaction with the returnee characters and the SLs they bring.  Seems like there is a lot of stuff starting up right now and can’t wait to get into the middle of these SLs and see what the pace of the show is going to be.  I love when it is a nice middle pace.  I don’t like 2 year long SLs, but I also don’t like 1 week SLs.  I think a good SL should last between 1 and 6 months with many twists and turns to keep it interesting.  Not the same dialog over and over again just to drag it out.  Time will only tell how these writers will work a beginning/middle/ending to a SL and how long they will be.
