ParticipantIt sure looks to me like they are going to trying to make us believe that John is guilty, e.g., his flash-back of working on the computer after Marlena had just said he wasn’t working during his rehabilitation. Of course that just makes me believe in his innocences even more.

Participantthat smile on his face during the flashback. Looked kind of sneaky-smile. But maybe we’re supposed to believe that. I have a feeling this could be a very complex SL.

Participantthan he is admitting, even to Marlena, but do I believe he’s another Bernie Madoff ….. Hell, No! I’m also curious that the bank statements were going to Alice, which would indicate that she was aware of the situation, and I cannot believe that Alice Horton would have anything to do with bilking people out of their hard earned money. No, I think by the time this gets even close to resolving itself, we will be well into, November sweeps, and solved by Christmas; and John will be acquitted of any crime (I hope); but, between now and then, I think a lot of other people will be involved, who probably have not even come into the story line yet ….. like Roman, maybe. I don’t know why, but he seemed awfully stand-offish to me yesterday with Marlena and with John. Could he be involved somehow? I just found it shocking that these statements had been coming to Alice for years and no one knew it????

Participantclose it is to the story in the Salem books by Sherri Anderson except John wasn’t the thief in the book!

ParticipantThere is no way John is gulty of this, but I do think he knows more than he is letting on.

Participantmust have been a former accountant. If so, that would mean we should have some pretty accurate details…hopefully.
Being a former stockbroker with Kidder Peabody and Paine Webber, I’ll be keeping a close eye on that end of it.

ParticipantI hope that’s not the case because that would be too easy. I hope it’s more involved than that.
