Is it my imagination or is the use of the background music during and ending scenes better than it’s been in years.  It reminds me of the "olden" days when the music set the tone and you could tell something sinister or bad was happening.

That was one of my beefs w/ the show over several years and it definitely seems improved.

YES!!!!!  Very soap operish from years gone by.  Reminds me of Carol Burnett’s "As The Stomach Turns" skits.

Someone has taken the hint from viewers….I love the new music. It’s starting to feel like Olden Days…haha!

All the soaps used that, much cheaper than an orchestra.  Although now days most of it’s done on a synthesizer which is still only a "one-piece orchestra."

I’ve always liked Day’s music.  I fact, several years ago I bought a CD of it.  That was when I realized they were not using an orchestra but the synth.  You can hear the similarity of all the songs but I still think it has always been very good.  IIRC, in the past, Corday himself had written a lot of it.  I don’t know if he still does.
