Everybody had straight hair today.  Hmmm.  Well, those with long hair anyway.

I see now that Jack’s beard was false otherwise he would have had some pretty raw skin after shaving off that much hair.

Something else I noticed is that John, Jack and Austin all seem to look a little gaunt from the last time they were on.  I wonder if the three of them were told to drop a couple of pounds.  I don’t think it really looks good on any of them.

As you age you lose some of the fat in your cheeks and the elasticity of your skin also loosens.  Perhaps this is why they appear gaunt.

I prefer their hair down, but I loved Madison’s hair as well.  Plus, did you notice that everyone had on different colors today?  It wasn’t like a while back, where we had an all blue day, or an all purple day.  I hated those one color days.  As much as she grates on my last nerve, I even thought Melanie looked exceptionally cute today.

grates on my nerves, I loved her big, chunky necklace. Also liked Melanie’s outfit and hair.

I am so sick of the straight hair trend.  It’s not flattering on everyone.  I did not like it at all on Gaby.  It looked too harsh for her face.  I actually loved Kate’s dress yesterday!  I like animal prints and it had a safari look to it and it looked good on her.  Many times she tends to wear layers or weird combinations of clothes but yesterday she looked great.

It was very noticeable how thin Jack’s face was after he shaved.  Maybe he lost weight for the part since he was supposedly kept hostage for a year?

that when you get a bit older (speaking of Jack) and you’re a bit thin, that longish hair only accenuates age. I bet if he had a haircut he’d look a lot better.

I thought that to myself, Jack needs a haircut!!!  I am not one to comment on that typr of thing, but I really thought he needed a haircut.

before Philip cut his hair.  It looks dirty and stringy and just about as unattractive as a man’s hair can look.  Hair and make-up …. please give Jack a short haircut and a bottle of shampoo.   MA does seem a bit on the thin side, and his sharp features under that messy hair tends to make him look ill to me.  Of course, that’s probably the intention for right now.  Guess he is supposed to look weary and haggard knowing his family does not forgive him, and that they may have even moved on.

older and getting thin…was thin and good figure in my younger days, now all my friends and I just look at a pizza and gain five lbs!  (And not to mention the heart burn)!  And with our knees and backs we’re walking on the treadmills, no more jogging…LOL!  I’d love to know what diet these folks are on – besides the bunny food that the rest of us eat to just maintain…I think you are right, the shorter hair styles look so much better on the men.  Times and styles change, I know Adrienne looks good with her haircut now.  Even Sami got her long goldy locks shorn and changed.

I didn’t start gaining any significant weight until is was in my early 50s.

But, that said, about five years ago I decided it was time to get back to my fighting weight and stay there.  Now, I eat pretty much whatever I want but I’m in better control of the quantity.  I NEVER fill my plate full and I’m very strict about stopping eating once I’m full.  That’s one thing I was really bad about before.  I ate until everything was gone, regardless.  And I’m now maintaining my weight almost to the pound without a whole lot of worry about it.  I think my body has finally acclimated to this weight and is satisfied with it.

And outside of some periodic very lazy swimming, I do NO exercise at all.

I find it’s easier to maintain a goal weight by simply eating until you are no longer hungry.  Plus, I’m very careful with portion control so as not to waste food.  I don’t diet, but my weakness is sweets.  If I could keep my sweet tooth under control, could probably drop an extra 5-10 Lbs. easily, but I figure, what the hell …. as long as it doesn’t get out of control, and I can maintain my weight through portion control, the extra treat was worth it.  I quit Curves about a year and a half ago, because it was hurting my legs and knees too much, but I’m still fairly active (I have 6 grandkids and I’m always doing something with one or two at a time) and I like to take walks with my cock-a-poo, Princess, although she’s getting up there herself and seems to be not interested in going anywhere near the distance we used to go.  When she’s tired, she stops right where we are, sits down, and looks up at me like she’s saying, "I don’t know about you, but I’ve had it and I’m not taking another step."  LOL.

She wants me to pick her up and carry her.  I practically have to drag her back home.

While the Poodle (who is much younger…still a teen-ager) wants to run and sniff at everything.  So I’ve got one dragging behind me and one pulling in front.  I’m surprised my arms have not gotten longer.
