The horrible tragedy – prayers are desperately needed

 I don’t know how to even open this up to ask for your prayers.  The story has made the national news, and yet, it took place in the small town where I live, only 5 miles from my home.

We are a small community of about 13,000 residents.  Almost small enough for everyone to know one another.  So when the news broke of a murder-suicide in our town, and we heard the names, we knew that they were members of the same synagogue where we are members.  We didn’t know them, and the circumstances that brought on this tragedy can never be understood.  A father and husband, kills his wife and two children, and then himself.  The details have been on the radio, the tv, even on AOL’s lead news page. 

Whatever happened in that family, none of them deserved to die in this way.

Please, please, keep the Friedlander family in your prayers and also include all their friends and family who loved them.  Those who are still alive and have to deal with this, especially the children’s friends, really need all of your support.
