I thought it was a fun show – twists and turns in a maze. Very different take on the good guys and the bad guys. I LIKED it.
October 24, 2011 at 8:51 pm #27922BonbonParticipantI got a phone call that lasted an hour and I thought it was recording but it wasn’t. Can I watch next week without being lost?
October 24, 2011 at 8:53 pm #27923annieoParticipantI would suggest you try to watch the first episode or you may not get what is going on next week unless they do a recap.
October 24, 2011 at 8:54 pm #27924DeeLanParticipantI watched it but can’t figure out how it will be a series, I mean once that battle starts how long can it go on? I thought it would be better as a mini series. I did like it though.
Did you notice Prince Charming in the hospital bed? Then when the minute hand on the clock moved at the end.
October 24, 2011 at 8:58 pm #2792553tdogsParticipanta lot of the shows, especially with pilots seem to repeat throughout the week – can you do a search with your cable or sat. system? It’s somewhere on your ABC channel I’m sure. http://tv.yahoo.com/show/47418 Seems to have gotten good reviews.
October 24, 2011 at 11:59 pm #27927goodolddaysParticipantI watched it and it intrigued me. I think it’s something different than the usual sitcom or cop show. I think there are many possibilities with this show and can’t wait to see what happens.
October 25, 2011 at 1:39 pm #27931caseyParticipantapparently it’s doing well in the ratings.
October 25, 2011 at 1:56 pm #27934BonbonParticipantit was the top rated show of the evening.
October 25, 2011 at 9:25 pm #27965PattiParticipantloved it; just the type of show I like. Terrific acting, good story going in and out of reality. I don’t know how it will do in the ratings, but it sure is a hit with me. I think once they get further along, they will be getting other fairytale characters involved. I read something about Little Red Riding Hood somewhere. I think the original fairytales were dark tales anyway, and from what I’ve seen in the pilot, this is exactly how they are portraying them. I love it. Waiting for Grimm on Sunday, which sounds very similar to OUAT.
October 26, 2011 at 4:21 pm #28015trixiebeldenParticipantor watch online. I had watched the first 10 minutes and wasn’t that impressed, but after that I loved it. I, too, am wondering how it will be a series rather than a mini-series. I just hope it lasts long enough to resolve enough of the story, because I like it enough that I will be mad if it gets cancelled quickly.
also, one of the comments mentions watching Grimm on Sunday, I think it is on this Friday, not Sunday. I will be watching that one, too. I had been more looking forward to that one based on commercials, though after watching the Once Upon a Time pilot, I think Grimm will have a hard time topping it for me. (Though they look like they are approaching from different angles, so may be similar subject, but I don’t know how similar the actual show concepts are.)
October 28, 2011 at 1:34 pm #28087TopazParticipantI recorded the show and finally watched it last night. I really enjoyed it. I wish they had used actual "little people" (dwarfs) to portray The Seven Dwarfs. There are enough competent actors among little people. Reminds me of cowboy/Indian movies of the 1950s, when actors wore dark makeup, black wigs and colored contact lenses to portray American Indians. OK, I was a fan of the show "Little People, Big World" and enjoyed their recent update episode. My oldest daughter was in the same high school graduation class as Amy (the mom on the show) in 1980.
October 28, 2011 at 4:30 pm #2809553tdogsParticipantthat they should use little people for the Snow White Seven Dwarfs; they do not have to stereotype, but I am sure there are just as many little people who have the acting bug as there are regular height folks. If it goes to the story line – why not? I liked the show Little People, Big World also, and I also watch The Little People (about the physician and the business man and their lives – as Jen says "Our lives; welcome to it…").
October 28, 2011 at 4:36 pm #28097BonbonParticipantIt’s about a little people guy in Hollywood who runs a talent agency for little people so we know they are available. The show is actually about his rescuing pit bulls but there has been a lot about the little people in show business also. He also has three little people who work for him.
BTW, I love The Little Couple show. They must be VERY successful from the money they spend. And they are both very down to earth and humorous.
October 28, 2011 at 4:44 pm #2809953tdogsParticipantlove and now that they "have it all" they really deserve to have it all with a family. They have come through a lot of diversity and physical trauma in their lives yet they face things with humor and love. Jenn has such a loving and good heart. Her hubby is a great guy, you can tell he is head-over-heels for her. Great show. Next Tuesday, I think, is the season finale already, so we’ll have to wait until next season…to find out.
October 28, 2011 at 7:18 pm #28101BonbonParticipantThey have so much working against them and if something happens when they finally do the genetic testing, what will they do? Abort it? I think they are taking a really big risk here having all this televised. Can you imagine if the baby is defective and they have to show their emotions on air? Not good, not good at all.
I’m just hoping against hope that everything turns out all right. And I hope the baby is a little person also. I think Jen would be happiest if it is.
