    on AOL. It’s called The Chef without a Stomach and details his battles with cancer. They had to remove his entire stomach and part of his esophagus to try and stop all the infections, one of which was so bad last year that the doctors were sure his cancer had progressed.  He only weighs 135 pounds now but that is up from 126 pounds. He wrote a new cookbook with photos taken by his wife, Amy. He seems to be doing better and is still upbeat as ever. Brave guy and God bless him and his family.

    I know maybe everyone doesn’t remember Hans but I put this here instead of the Brady Pub so everyone might get to see it.

    I read that on AOL also.  What a shame.  Glad he’s doing as well as he is.

    since Jenn brought him to our attention on the Food Network.  His Dad died this past year and he and his family took over his restaurant.  He loved doing that, but it was putting quite a bit of stress on his body, so it’s up for sale now.  He’s a pretty amazing guy to be where he’s at right now after the challenges he’s faced.

    him a while back on "the Pub" – The man has courage and great strength to go through all of that, God’s blessings to him.
