Boy, our local TV critic really gave this show a terrible review but I thought it was pretty entertaing.  Yes, it’s kind of cheezy and I’m sure it won’t win any Emmys but I loved the humor that was infused throughout even though it is a drama.  The werewolf who had gone "straight" (with diet and Pilates no-less!!!) was hillarious.  I think I’m going to like this show.  And, being on Friday night, there’s nothing competing with it.

    Anybody else watch it?  Comments?

not as much as Once Upon A Time, which is a smash hit already.  You’re right about the reformed werewolf.  He’s hilarious and I think he’s going to be a regular, working with the detective every week now.  I’ll watch it, though, because, like you said, there’s not much else on the tube on Fridays.

publicity advertising as they did OUAT, so that may be why Grimm isn’t doing as well, and Friday night, is well, most folks (especially with the demographics that would normally watch a show like Grimm) are out and not watching t.v. at primetime.  Maybe they should switch the day shown to bring it up in ratings.  Sunday, Monday, Tues., and some of Wed. are good nights for t.v. at my house, (at least the DVR seems to be working a lot harder those days).

I’m not sure if I’ll keep watching.  I’m not a paranormal fan, but I liked the main characters…especially the reformed werewolf.  I will say that I did jump when the animal attacked the runner in the park.  It was totally unexpected.

so that didn’t make me jump but I sure did when he came through the window.  And I’m not easily startled.

that’s why I thought OUAT would be cute, funny, and clever with a twist…I don’t want to go to bed and have to look under the bed at the dog hair that might look like a werewolf!  I’ve never seen CSI or those kinds of shows just because of that…even had to quit watching Bones because of the "gunk" that used to be a person on their exam table – and I loved that show.   I think I’m stuck in "Leave it to Beaver" and "I Love Lucy" land…although, I do watch "V", "Terra Nova" and "House" "Grey’s" – they get pretty "gross" at times…

Not sure about OUAT my husband watched half and said too soapy for him. I am still watching for now.

I read the reviews of Grimm and told my husband about it. We watched it on demand and he loved it . Me too.  Its like a cross between a good cop show and Supernatural. Hope it makes it.

but then I do really like Person of Intent and the bad guys are pretty evil on that show, but then the good guys always get them in the end…and then too, Jim Cavezel is one of my favorite actors (he’s a good guy).  The good guys (and gals) winning in the end – like John Wayne, that is my kind of show.  No grey areas.

(Friday, 11-04-11).  I wonder if every show is going to based on the one fairytale, Little Red Riding Hood, because of the werewolf being a main character.  Still loving the redeemed werewolf character, but that family cultural tribe last night was brutal.  Last night seemed to have had a lot more gore to it than the first week’s show.  Still wondering when the Detective’s family story will come into play, and whether or not he realizes what he has inherited from them.  He evidently comes from a long line of werewolf killers, as evidenced by last night’s show.  I’m still liking this show, but would love to see stories revolving around other Grimm fairytales besides LRRH.  Same with OUAT and the Snow White theme.

Last night was Goldilocks and the Three Bears from the form that family took.  Of course when the young couple first went in the house and opened the refrigerator we suspected that’s what it was.

I’m trying to figure out why he moved his aunt’s trailer since it’s got everything he needs to know to help him with his legacy.  Of course he might have cleaned it out first.  When I first saw him driving off I thought he left his girlfriend but at the end she was still with him.

but now I see what you mean.  Wonder why his aunt told him in the first episode that he can never be with his girlfriend, and that he must leave her.  Thinking eventually someone will try and get to him through his girlfriend, and the aunt foresaw that.  All in all, I’s still liking this show a lot.

Thanks for filling us in.  Maybe they shouldn’t be quite so, um, what’s the word I want?  So we will get it easier. I wondered why the mother turned into a bear.  Duh!

I think he moved the trailor so they (wolves, whatever they’re called) can’t find it.  I guess we’ll have to wait until next week to find out.

The next episode I’m going to try harder to get which farytale they are portraying.  I’ll probably enjoy it much more that way.

I thought she told him he couldn’t be with his girlfriend because he’s be putting her in danger.
