does she appear way more OTT lately?  I know she’s supposed to appear frazzled, but I’m not enjoying her acting of late.  I know lots of people simply can’t tolerate Sami at all; I, however, like her and wish Ali would calm her down some.  It’s making her look ridiculous; and now her interference between Brady and Madison is just plain ugly.  And it isn’t even because she doesn’t want them together or falling for each other; it’s because she’s afraid it will cost her her job.  Really, Sami?  But, simply put, Ali is not doing a good job of acting lately, IMO.  Maybe she needs a break in her schedule or something.  To me, everything she does or says appears weak as far as AS, the actress.  She is so much better when she is with Rafe and acting like the loving wife and mother.  All this new found creativity she’s dealing with as a working mom, plus her personal life, is taking her out of the realm of believability for me.  Who acts like that; she’s turning into a stumbling, stammering, frazzled mess.  I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m not liking Ali’s new role.  I was liking Madison putting her in her place yesterday, even though Sami’s spot-on with her suspicions of Brady and Madison; however, it’s none of her business, and she’s lucky Madison didn’t fire her.  She has to keep her personal feelings where they belong and concentrate on not looking like the office clown when she’s trying to do her job.  Calm it down, Ali, and stop over-acting.

I don’t think anyone is that scatter-brained like she portrayed yesterday.

And what’s with the being so apologetic about being a couple of minutes late.  An "executive assistant" would probably work on her own time being that they typically work more than their 40 hours per week.  No one would say anything if she were a little bit late.  Although a good EA would be there BEFORE the boss to have everything in order when she shows up…think, The Devil Wears Prada, and Working Girl.

portrayal of Sami for quite some time now.  She’s not my favorite character, but she was growing on me with the more mature persona that I had been seeing for awhile.  But, now it’s a joke, not an entertaining one, to watch her on screen.  It’s more of an insult to working women in my book.

ladder in this day and age, not to mention this economy…Sami should really thank Rafe for being such a great step-father and taking care of her children, especially if she plans on keeping up this pace and keeping the job career path she is on.

Yesterday when she was trying to leave and all over the place…Never seen anyone so scattered. You would think she would have her outfit and shoes and bag, etc, laid out the nighit before so she didn’t have to search in the AM. Silly writing, I think, and sillier acting from AS. She could have played it a little more sane and frustrated as opposed to frenetic and crazy.

I didn’t see any signs of her not being grateful to Rafe. She actually tried to bolster his spirits about finding a job before she left.

Did you see the way they were looking at each other yesterday?  This does not bode well with me.  I can’t believe they want to break up Sami and Rafe…although…it would be a deserved payback for Sami for taking Austin away from Carrie.  Still though, I DON’T want to see this happen but afraid we’re going to anyway.

so I can’t stand the thought of them breaking them up already.  I do think, however, that Rafe and Carrie working together will cause them problems.  We all know how Sami is:  "do as I say, not as I do," and I can see problems coming for them, because Rafe and Carrie believe in John’s innocence, and Sami and Austin….not so much.  I do believe Sami when she says she wants to, but looks back on how John was when Stefano had him brainwashed (ugghhh, I can’t even stand saying that), and now John is starting to believe it himself.  So, yes, I can see problems for Rafe and Sami coming sooner rather than later; but, I’m hoping they can overcome their jealous natures (and looks like they both have them), and that both couples realize that Rafe and Carrie are working to help John and Marlena and not because they are attracted to one another.  Here’s your chance to really show some maturity, Sami.  I expect to see a rough start, however.

Not only Sami but it would be a return of an old Carrie.  One who left and divorced Austin before for another man so even though her past isn’t as bad as Sami’s, Carrie is no sait either.

I am in the minority here, but do believe Sami’s actions. I know some epole who are so organized that they have everything ready the night before to make it easy in the  morning. However I also know plenty who wait till morning and grab and go. I never thought that Sami was a super organized person so to me it is realistic. Also since she has small children, even having things ready, does not insure they will be in the sam place the next morning. Finally, Sami has been working about a week, so she really doesn’t have a routine down yet. I would expect that the morning frenzy should get better as she continues to work

It is resonable to believe that having a full time job with late hours can lead to a less than planned morning. I think that having the kids running around, looking for bookbags, lunches, running for the bus would also be add to the rush.  how old is Sydney now? Is she in school too?

I agree.  Sami might have had a morning routine that was getting the kids up and ready for school then taking care of herself after they were gone.  Now she’s got to not only take care of the kids but also get herself up and going and she hasn’t quite figured out how to get there yet.

It takes time to figure out a routine that works and until you find it you’re going to be doing a lot of running around, backtracking and having many frazzled moments.
