If Nancy doesn’t go tonight, I will flip out. That would be a disaster to send any one of the other couples home and keep her and Tristan. She really needs to stop thinking she should be telling him what she should be doing. It might be fine if she DID know what she was doing, but in no way can this woman keep up with the rest of the dancers, and even Len told her last night. For once I had to agree with his sarcasm. This woman doesn’t know when to just shut up and dance. She makes excuses for herself beyond belief, and she’s got this fabulous, hot little Aussie trying to give her some style and grace on the dance floor, and all she does is bitch at him. GOODBYE, NANCY!
Loved Hope and Maks this week. So glad she’s starting to listen to Maks. Loved their dinner with Maks’ family and some of the things they said about him. Did his father say he always cried when he was young? That was funny. I thought Hope did extremely well last night.
Of course, no-body beats J.R. Hands down, he’s the best from head to toe, including personality. He’s a winner, for sure.
Rikki fell behind a little last night, but she is a terrific dancer and can hold her head up high when she loses to J.R. (hopefully);
Rob Kardashian would be the next to go after Nancy. If they send Rob or Hope home tonight instead of Nancy, I think Len will freak out on somebody. LOL.
November 8, 2011 at 1:29 pm #28415SWParticipantchoose and it is very much a popularity contest. Nancy has her show fans, Rob has his whole family and all their fans, JR has AMC/military fans and he’s great, Rikki is popular and she’s good, as to Hope -I had never heard of her so not sure what her fan base would be and she just doesn’t have the same level of dancing ability as JR or Rikki. If it was straight dancing, it would go to Rikki or JR. They vary from week to week but personally I’d pick JR.
November 8, 2011 at 2:35 pm #28416MKParticipantI wouldn’t care if Rob, Hope, or Nancy goes tonight. It should probably be Nancy though I don’t really like the other two at all. I never heard of Hope either, SW. I don’t like her dancing and her attitude. I never heard of Rob before this show either. He learns the steps but is not really a dancer in my opinion and quite frankly, I don’t know why he is even on this show. Oh ya, that’s right, he’s a Kardashian. And what are they famous for? Kim making a sex tape that "leaked" to the public and her father defending a murderer and now they have a stupid show. And then that whole marriage publicity stunt Kim pulled. Rob doesn’t seem like a bad guy and I probably shouldn’t judge him because of his last name, but I just don’t like do-nothing "reality" show "stars" on this show. Just my opinion!
I like Rikki–she is very good but JR all the way for me too!!!!! He is the real deal!
November 8, 2011 at 2:45 pm #28417PattiParticipantevery soccer star in America voting for her. She’s the star goalie for the USA Women’s’ Soccer team and played magnificently in this year’s Gold Cup. I’d rather see her hang on longer than Rob Kardashian, who seems to be stuck on himself, like all of the Kardashians are; but, I also like Hope because she’s paired with Maks, who, regardless of how ruthless he can appear at times, is one of my favorite pros.
November 8, 2011 at 3:13 pm #28421BonbonParticipantanyone is going to beat JR. Yes, Ricki is a good dancer but JR has the whole package. He’s a great dancer, an amazing personality, humble, plus he comes off as a really nice guy. And we certainly can’t forget about what he has gone through.
I was really hoping David would win but now that he’s gone (and probably a bit prematurely, but justifiably), and thought I don’t much care for Hope one way or the other but would love to see Maks win, I’m for JR all the way. (Whew, that was a long sentence…sorry.)
November 8, 2011 at 3:37 pm #28425caseyParticipantI’ve seen the family show enough to know he has certainly not come across to me as a nice guy. He’s mooched off his sibs since college without getting a job, got a girl pregnant one night after a drinking party (she miscarried), and has made some very nasty remarks. I think though, he has the potential – if he cares to grow up – to make something of himself. Maybe this DWTS stint will be his jumpstart.
November 9, 2011 at 1:31 pm #28460PattiParticipantI was starting to feel bad for her next to the other dancers. Now, it should be like shooting tin cans off a fence …. and, of course, short of any catastrophic failure like someone taking ill, or falling and getting hurt, or twisting an ankle —- anything that would cause a star the inability to continue (they could always replace a pro), next to go (my guesses only) will be Rob, then Hope, then Rikki, with J.R. taking home the mirror ball trophy.
Now, did my eyes deceive me, or did anyone else notice Matt Ashford in the audience last night? I could swear I saw him. These soap stars do come out to support one another, even if they are not on the same soap.
November 9, 2011 at 2:41 pm #28468luckeyParticipantchatter was driving me crazy! It’s funny that I very often agree with her opinions on her show, but I couldn’t wait to NOT hear her voice anymore on DWTS! Tristan was very diplomatic whenever he was asked his thoughts on their partnership, but it looked like he was not all that happy with her as a partner. It all looked good for the cameras, but she was not who he would have liked for his first professional partner. Having said that, her fan base kept them on for 8 weeks, so it did give him positive exposure in showing how well he can handle himself.
November 9, 2011 at 3:24 pm #28478BonbonParticipantNo surprises this season…except for how in the heck Rob and Nancy stayed on long after some of the more talented dancers were voted off. I’m am totally convinced the voting is, um, shall we say, "tweaked"?
November 10, 2011 at 2:39 pm #28527luckeyParticipantfor one night of error. Good grief! Look at the mess that Rob and Nancy have been from day one…improving yes; but, they didn’t get booted for their early mistakes. Makes no sense to me.
