Why was Marlena signing to Johnny. She signed, "do you want to eat?" Do you supposed one of the twins is deaf?

BTW, I saw snow on the ground today at Horton Square so apparently it IS outside.

We sign to our 15 month old grandson, who is not hearing impaired, but not to the 4 year olds.
