I just finished watching Episode 7 on-line and the blonde with the bright red lipstick (Christina maybe?) kept talking about making a piece of jewelry which didn’t work. I don’t know what it is nor can I find it because I don’t know how to spell it, but phonetically it’s MEN O DEE A Does anyone know what this is or how to spell it? Whatever it was she didn’t get it made because the band broke on the band saw.
And since she ended up now making one, we didn’t get to see what it was. I’m in the dark as much as you.
I found this article online, which is an absolute hoot to read in it’s entirety, but this is one paragraph.
Christina, who I am warming to, is all aflutter after deciding she’s going to make a small purse, called a minaudiere, (min-oh-dee-air, not min-oh-dee-ay, and honestly, I wouldn’t have known that if I didn’t look it up, but you also don’t see me tossing around fancy French fashion words like Pillsbury croissants) and, according to Merriam-Webster, mispronounces the word fifteen times in six minutes.
