I find this a shade implausible that Bo would just happen to crash into the plaque just in the spot to extract the key. And okay, if we believe Alice is working from the afterlife, and if this were a key from her, how on earth did it get into the sign?

December 26, 2011 at 11:10 pm #29900DeeLanParticipantI could see the plaque breaking at that point as the key embedded inside could create a weak point so it would be easier to break. As to how the key actually got there is beyond me since I’m sure Alice wasn’t the one to commission the making of the plaque.
December 27, 2011 at 2:15 am #29903PattiParticipantjust hope this was a reasonably believable plot. Since the key was planted, who planted it? I don’t believe it would have been Stefano, as I’ve read some suggest; and what it opens will probably drag on into February sweeps, no doubt. I know this Alice mystery is all supposed to be linked by clues, but, frankly, I’ve lost track and can only hope it’s not going to involve the ever-questionable baby photo that both Alice and Stefano have. What is the connection? Interesting, but dragging out for too long a time only causes me to wonder ….. do I care any longer?
December 27, 2011 at 2:45 am #2990653tdogsParticipantuntil the mystery of the baby picture is solved…maybe a lot more clues to come. I think it’s kinda fun that the show is doing this, after all they did keep us guessing for months (tooooooo long) on the Whodunit Sydnapping…
December 27, 2011 at 12:40 pm #29910BonbonParticipantworking together to solve a mystery. We’re getting exactly what we asked for. I just wonder when they spend time at their REAL job.
December 27, 2011 at 1:29 pm #29917SWParticipantplaque? It sure wasn’t eithr Alice or Tom so who ever did must have had a reason to put the key in there. I do find it very hard to believe that a metal plaque like that would break after only a body crashed into it. Bo didn’t even get hurt! The mystery has me interested and I don’t really feel like it is going too slow. I thought the whole John connection/jail stuff went very fast for a typical soap. If James Reilly had been writing this, John would still be on trial now.
December 27, 2011 at 2:55 pm #29920GoodyParticipantwas broken so easily, my first thought was that is ridiculous, and my second thought was that is CHEAP. That plaque was supposed to last for a long time, but it broke the first time contact was make with it. Strange.
Goody
December 27, 2011 at 3:09 pm #29922BonbonParticipantif it was made of pot metal (which a lot of signs like that are because it’s so easy to mold), it can break very easily. Not only that, pot metal cannot be welded back together again.
December 27, 2011 at 3:12 pm #29924caseyParticipantis that Bo was the one who just happened to break it. But I do enjoy the mystery.
