Anybody watching this one? I really like it because they’ve got proven designers from all the previous shows (I’ve only seen the last two). From the last one they brought back Mongo, Michael and April. We are seeing some really neat outfits that are much better made and better designed than on the regular shows. I sure miss Heidi Klum and, oh, what’s his name that always encourages them, Tim… I loved him on there.
Anyway, if you usually watch it (or even if you don’t) check out an episode, I think you’ll like it.

January 26, 2012 at 10:45 pm #30618caseyParticipantand these star contestants really are showing why they are standouts. The host and judges don’t thrill me.
It’s too bad about Heidi and Seal breakup. Hope they’ll reconsider.January 27, 2012 at 12:31 pm #30628BonbonParticipantI have always wondered what happened to his face. Does anybody know?
And Michael is certainly coming out as the star on this show. I can’t remember, did he finish in the final three last season? I hated to see April go home last night, I thought the "cupcake" dress was much worse than her’s. I sometimes don’t care much for her personality but still liked seeing her creations.

January 27, 2012 at 2:16 pm #30635MKParticipantI’m watching! I wish it would go back to the hour and one half format though. I feel like it’s too rushed in the one hour with all the commercials. I’m still really enjoying it though. I haven’t watched last night’s episode yet. I think I like Michael the best. He is producing some amazing designs.
January 27, 2012 at 3:01 pm #30637BonbonParticipantand a couple of other reality shows, is that they don’t show enough of the process. (Face Off is the same way.) I’d like to see more of the progression of the outfits being put together. I also noticed last night that many times they show the construction of the garments out of sequence. They showed the model trying on the dress then later you’d see them tearing fabric or cutting out pattern pieces. I don’t understand the reasoning for this.
But I still love the show anyway. And, I agree, Michael is going to be the one to beat.
January 27, 2012 at 3:09 pm #30638annieoParticipantplus I was really hoping Mondo would win last night. I guess he didn’t show enough "skin" on his model. The model that Kara had was so anorexic nothing would look on her and last night’s dress really emphasized it. I was shocked, though, when she was left and April was ousted. They must have kept her for the drama. She always seems so overly anxious. Wow, Rami has an amazingly good looking body! I can’t understand, also, why the judges liked Mila’s dress. It must have looked better close up, because on my tv I thought it was not attractive at all, especially when paired with the heavy sagging belt and the shoes. On another totally different subject, the show following, 24-Hour CatWalk is, in my opinion, just awful. I don’t know the host’s name, but she doesn’t look like a fashion icon to me. Her hair and her clothes are just plain odd.
