someone as "important" as EJ concerning himself with a young kid like Will. It seems to me that having the shooting to hang over is head is more than enough needed to keep him under this thumb.
EJ might "know" that Will was the one who shot him, but he has no proof, especailly since Lucas plead guilty to the charge and served his sentence. Will should have just told him—"prove it" and walked out.
As for blackmailing him about being gay–it is not agaiinst the law. However, it is a good excuse for him to finally admit it.
I thought EJ already intimated to Will that he knew he was gay and would expose him. Maybe not in those exact words but the meaning and intent were there.
threatening Will and a lot of us who have been reading spoilers thought it was going to be that he knew Will is gay. Then, he drops the shooting on us and never alluded to the gay situation at all. I also think all those scenes that we were shown of EJ watching Will with his friends was just to throw us off. EJ wouldn’t know Will’s friends and whether they are straight or gay. Besides, just standing around laughing and chatting with your friends does not indicate one way or another. Of course, the writers have used much less to make something happen just to move the plot along.
he doesn’t know for sure but after he alluded to it, Will kind of took the bait and gave him the verification that there was indeed something wrong there so even if EJ doesn’t know for certain that he’s gay, he knows there is something Will doesn’t want revealed.
