Well, that was certainly a fine kettle of fish today with Brady walking in on IAN. (BTW, I was VERY disappointed to have him be her husband as opposed to someone else.)
Let’s have a little fun and pretend we are the writers for the next episode. What line would you write next for Brady and/or Madison?
February 10, 2012 at 10:27 pm #30969NoraParticipantThis guy reminds me a LOT of the old Alister Crane from passions. He was a real perverted old bastard. Of course they have to ruin Brady and Maddison, they are just way too happy. and we cant have a happy couple on Days!
February 11, 2012 at 12:02 am #30974SWParticipantSheridan horribly! I see Ian as a very controlling monster. What I don’t get though is why Madison let Brady go on believing she was free to be with him?
February 11, 2012 at 1:45 pm #30980SWParticipantMadison he said something about her having cut her hair and how it has made her look a lot younger? Is that supposed to make us think she is older or closer to his age??? That makes no sense since when she and Sami first connected again, it was said that they were in school together so she should be Sami’s age. Of course that is also silly since Brady should be about 14 or so years YOUNGER than Sami as when John and Marlena went on their honeymoon to Hawaii, Sami was 18 or older and watched Brady and Belle. Brady at the start of the honeymoon was about 5 and Belle 3. lol Of course when they returned, Belle was like 17 and Brady was an adult. lol Got to love the show’s way of aging kids!
February 11, 2012 at 3:11 pm #30981PattiParticipantthen she straight-up deceived Brady and Victor and everyone else, including Sami, who, by the way, owes Brady an apology, since Sami placed the blame for someone being hurt in the relationship squarely on Brady when it was Madison who would be doing the hurting. Brady, you should never criticize Sami for her mistakes with men, since you are so much like her with the women in your life. Why, you ask … because you leap before you look.
February 11, 2012 at 6:06 pm #30983luckeyParticipanthere over the last 10+ years are still lurking and reading; but…there is one by the name of Jade who used to take the current storylines and put her own spin on them and write a continuing story from her point of view and it was GREAT! We were always waiting for her next installment. I would love to hear what she’s thinking right now. Jade, if you’re out there….I miss you!!!!
February 11, 2012 at 6:16 pm #30984Carol JParticipantI always looked forward to her versions of the storylines. Jade, if you are lurking, here is another fan who misses you.
February 11, 2012 at 7:15 pm #30986BonbonParticipantafter she had a baby. She was just too busy. Yes, I miss her too.
Okay, I’m going to take a stab at it. I would have Brady say: "Oh, nice to meet you, Ian." (Looking at Madison) "Madison, you never told me you had such a distinguished-looking husband. Ian, Madison and I worked together at Titan. But I’m sure you two have a lot to catch up on so Madison, I’ll get back to you later when it’s more convenient."
Then, he should let her stew awhile and when he can get her alone, really, REALLY, give her the third degree! I can’t imagine her having any justifiable excuse for this.
February 11, 2012 at 9:35 pm #30987majencoParticipantI read that as him being a control freak who wants to ruin her confidence. He said "You cut your hair, isn’t it a bit young for you?" that’s calling her old in my book. He also said she needed her beauty sleep. This is in sharp contrast to how Brady was all gushing about how beautiful she is. I think they are setting him up as a controlling and abusive husband. Madison became very afraid when he grabbed her by the arm. This implied physical abuse to me.
