I see where next week will be the last episode of Pan Am.  And I’m afraid it won’t be back again.  Our local newspaper critic here sure doesn’t think much of it and doesn’t believe it’ll be picked up again next season.

Although I don’t believe it’s any Emmy winner, I have been enjoying it.  There have been some interesting things going on and, like The Playboy Club, I really enjoy seeing the styles, etc. from back in that era.  I do think they portray the women a little "looser" than we really were then.  Of course they ARE stews and they did have that kind of rep.

In  the 60s I used to go to a beauty salon that many of the United stewardesses went to (it was very near O’Hare and their apartments) and, let me tell you, I DID hear some really interesting stories in that place.  Whew!

loved the styles and hair of the sixties (not that I want to go back there), it’s just fun to see.  And with "Desperate Housefraus" going off in a few weeks too, darn, there’s another interesting soap gone.

They’ve really come up with some interesting twists on turns on that show.  Not terribly believable but interesting just the same.  I love ALL the characters on there although I think Gabby is my favorite.  She is just SOOOO shallow.  :o)

I was glad to see Orson return Sunday night.  I hope they can get back together.  I just hope they can tie everything together in the last episode and not leave us dangling like they did with The Sopranos.
