for this? I truly cannot believe Sami’s attitude, unless the writers will try and make it out that this is Sami’s coping mechanism – to transfer her own guilt and disgust on someone else.
But with Marlena I’m not buying, because Sami has held this bitterness since she was a teen. Will Sami EVER fess up to her own resume of personal wreckage?I frankly enjoyed the scene between Sami and marelna and can’t wait until tomorrow when she (Sami) gets more truth from marlena! NOT looking forward to more scenes from rafe and carrie. Ugh I can’t stand these two, they have no chemistry! I was afraid there for a little while in their office we were going to see another porn show with carrie taking off her blazer cause it’s soo hot in their office! rafe and carrie remind me of Lucas and carrie. She barely has any chemistry with Austin. But anyway….I can’t wait for the sh* t to hit the fan for poor old Sami!!! I do feel sorry for Nicole though.
Hope this rambling made sense, its late! LOL.It’s about time Marlena took off the kid gloves and told Sami the way it is. It used to bug me how she was alway so soft and sweet with her, especially the way Sami would speak to her, very disrespectful. I kept waiting for her to drop the bomb but I think Sami is beginning to suspect she knows now. Oh, how sweet that is going to be. Although she’s been pretty dense with all the hints Will has dropped and she still doesn’t suspect he knows…or DOES she?
very emotional scenes and they played well off one another. That said, did it get the results that Marlena expected? I would have to say no, because at the end of their scene today Sami was still trying to swear Marlena and Will to secrecy between the 3 of them, and was absolutely adamant that Rafe never know the truth. IMO, she was truly sorry for what she did, though. I actually got teary-eyed when she had a meltdown in Marlena’s arms, and when she apologized to Will. However, her stubbornness in insisting that they keep her secret from Rafe left me shaking my head once again. I realize she is afraid he will never forgive her, will want a divorce, and will run straight to Carrie for consolation (ugh), but in time I believe they will definitely reunite. At least I hope so. I have to say, though, in all truthfulness, I may change my mind about Rafe if he keeps running to Carrie, especially when Lucas comes back (February 29th).
Totally agree with you about Sami and marlena today. And about Rafe, I love him but if he keeps running to carrie and they sleep together that will totally ruin his character. It was a good scene today between Sami and marlena when she broke down in her arms.
Also loved the scene between victor and Maggie after Ian left. They were so cute together.
But I had to LOL at Will’s answer when Sami asked him what else she could say and he said, "How about that you’re not really my mother." And then, "Tell me I’m adopted." Priceless!
But I noticed that even after the secret came out, all of Sami’s comments were still all about her. She couldn’t accept the possibility that Will was hurt as badly as she was after seeing Marlena with John. She will just never get past her "Me, me, me complex." Oh how I’d love to hear her say to him, "Will, I know how badly I’ve hurt you and would do anything to able to take your pain away and bear it myself." But, nooo, instead, she basically says that, well, she went through the same thing, ya know. Always blame someone or something else or have an excuse for her actions.
Yes, I got tears too when she hugged Marlena. I think it was somewhat of a relief that now she has someone to talk to about it. If nothing else, she will have to let up on Rafe for his "indescretion" because, as Will said, her’s was much worse.
and then, in the heat of the moment, realize what he is doing (that he is being as selfish as Sami) and stops it and puts an end to this "connection" with Carrie. Just once, JUST ONCE, it would be so gratifying to see someone who does not give in to an impulsive sexual moment that would destroy their marriage because they truly don’t want to see it destroyed! Instead we see so much gratuitous sex or revenge sex…give us a break already!
said, "OK, I forgive.", "OK, I’ll change.", "OK, I’ll be a better wife, (or mother or sister or daughter – employee – BTW, I don’t ever think she’s said the words " better friend" to any one as Sami has no true friends if you think about it)", – but you get my drift. The woman is all promise and tears and no action to follow through to change.
