I wasn’t expecting will’s first kiss to be like that! i thought it was going to be a lot nicer and sweeter.
February 23, 2012 at 8:10 pm #31278dvalParticipantI thought it was a bit much. Thought they were going to go at it right there but isn’t that how Days does all their sexy scenes? Hot, heavy, right to the point, no foreplay at all. I had hoped it would be a little more tentative on Will’s part considering it was his first encounter. But maybe it was just grief sex, like his mother had with EJ LOL.
February 23, 2012 at 8:23 pm #31280DeeLanParticipantI think it was more like drunken sex
February 23, 2012 at 8:51 pm #31281PattiParticipantand that he was full of rage, but that was a whole lot more risque than I ever expected to see for Will’s first kiss with another male. It appeared they were ravaging one another, and my gosh it lasted a lot longer than I would have liked. I was expecting a more demure, almost embarrassing approach from Will for his first time kiss with another guy. Instead, what I saw bordered on animalistic. Good acting on CM’s part, though, since I read he is definitely heterosexual and this was his first gay role. I just would not want to see a pattern for Will with this type of aggressive behavior. He needs to come fully "out" so he can deal openly and sensibly with his sexuality and not like what I saw today. I think it clearly had a lot to do with him being drunk, as well as this farce with his mother’s behavior and his own hidden inhibitions that caused him to react this way today. Poor Alice; everyone is starting to use her beautiful Town Square for a hot and heavy make-out spot. LOL!
February 23, 2012 at 8:54 pm #31282BonbonParticipantpeople doing outlandish things because they’re drunk? First Austin, now Will? Enough!
February 23, 2012 at 9:22 pm #31284DeeLanParticipantI’m also wondering if he was "testing the waters" a bit agressively. I mean, he’s been denying he has these feelings and realizing more and more he may have them. This alone makes him angry. Now he’s drunk, full of rage and all the emotion that comes with it and he sees an opportunity. Once he starts he finds he’s more attracted to it than anything he tried to feel with Gaby.
This is just my thinking on the whole thing.
February 23, 2012 at 10:06 pm #31289JannParticipantThat was major face sucking! Will is one confused kid, somebody call his grandma.
February 24, 2012 at 4:18 am #31295shadowParticipantpleased that they have created this "gay" theme. Today was the most disgusting scene with Will and that other boy(?). I hope they are happy.(the writers). They’ve gone overboard with the couple sex and now they are pushing guys kissing – Yuck, yuck!!.. I guess next will be two guys rolling around in bed together. Sickening just thinking about what they do together. I know I’m very much in the minority. That’s whats wrong with people now, they are condoning and accepting any fad and lifestyle that comes along.
February 24, 2012 at 1:09 pm #31304SWParticipantIt may also be that he’s more like his mother than he wants to admit plus the above!
February 24, 2012 at 2:16 pm #31308luckeyParticipantfastforwarding. It was not necessary to portray the scene in such an agressive manner…just my opinion.
February 24, 2012 at 4:33 pm #3131553tdogsParticipantMy church teaches tolerance – hate the sin, don’t hate the sinner. But read further before you start shouting "what sin? Don’t they have the right to love?" Please read just a bit further and try and make some sense out of my ramblings here:
I loved Days. Several friends have commented they (some have watched as long as 40 years), as well, they are going to be doing a lot of FF’ding and did yesterday. Me, I’ve quit the show permanently now because of this veyr story line two months ago, (after 21 years) of being a very advid fan. I keep up on some of the SL’s via all of your comments on SP.
Some will say "Well, you watched adultry, murder, kidnapping, lying, cheating, stealing, wife-swapping, husband swapping all those 21 years, why is this any different?" and "You thought the movie Tootsie was cute." I know people that are homosexual in real life at their businesses – very nice people from what I can see. People on this forum have come out and said they are – and seem to be very nice people.
BUT I do not want to see it on t.v. or in the movies – and the arguement to me will be: ‘Well, if you are going to watch Bo and Hope or whomever other heterosexual couple maybe in the scene shouldn’t the homosexual couple have the same rights?’ I don’t want to see Bo and Hope naked and sweaty or liplocked either, I’d rather they walk into their bedroom and close the door and I can take my imagination and leave it at their closed door. I don’t need them to see them mess up the sheets. I know this 2012 and it isn’t the Ozzie and Harriet era, nor is it even Dick and Laura’s bedroom days anymore, but why do we have to take every thing to the absolute base line these days? Are we not all adults and have a brain?
I’m not going to preach here, just trying to say how we in "the flyover states" mostly feel, we are not all "sophisticated" NY’ers or "in-the-know-of-hip" left coasters from Hollyweird that can take or will take all that is dished out to us. God has not left it up to me to decide/judge about a person. No, people in glass houses should not throw stones and all, and God commands me take the beam out of my own eye before trying to remove someone else beam from their eye, all this I get down to my very bones, BUT that does mean that I have free will to watch or I can turn the channel to another show and stop buying the advertisers products and wonder about the state of my country and where it is going.
And as the very wise man Mr. Forrest Gump once said, "….and that’s all I’m going to say about that."
February 24, 2012 at 4:58 pm #31320maxineParticipantI was a little surprised by the Boldness of the kiss but I can understand that Will do believe that he May be gay because of the feeling he has been having, and now that he is tispy he can throw all of those pint-up feeling aside and boy did he..smile
But I still think Days is still doing a great job with Wills Gay SL, I know that I am not going to like the Sl everyday, but I can understand what they are trying to do, there are parts of Abbys SL , parts of Sami’s SL that I hate but I am not giving up my Days because I think they are trying to keep up with the times of 2012 things are changing and Day is trying to stay in the game.. GOOD for DOOL !!!!
AND FYI it was a little uncomfortable watching two males kissing, I am 65 years old , but do plan on continuing to watch and may end up FF through some but I do that already.
February 24, 2012 at 6:42 pm #31325BonbonParticipantyou say you don’t want to see Bo in Hope in bed all sweaty and messing up the sheets either? I think you (and I) are in the majority here but for some reason these writers think we DO want to see that. I don’t know if anybody here who DOES want to see that would even have the courage to step forth and say so (and I wouldn’t blame them) but I really doubt there’s any of those critters around.
That said, I don’t see where there’s any difference between showing the heterosexual "sex scenes" or the homosexual ones. Personally, I don’t want to see either one. I said in another thread that that scene made me feel very very uncomfortable but they’re going to give it to us whether we like it or not. I don’t know, maybe they think they’re giving the actors a vehicle to shine at their craft.
My point? I’m not going to stop watching the show because of it. Pammy, I think you’re biting your nose to spite your face. But you did stop watching before so maybe it’s just your time to give it up on it. I feel sad about that but it’s your decision.
February 24, 2012 at 8:15 pm #3132953tdogsParticipantof the SP folks to read up on the happenings of the Salemites. This way won’t stress me out or my FF’ding button. I don’t feel that anything should be forced down the view audiences throats either, (on both sides). I don’t watch mad slasher movies, etc., like that because I don’t wish to. So the advertisers won’t get my purchasing dollars because I don’t watch their show, there will be plenty of other people who will watch. Don’t be sad, I will still be lurking on SP and know several other people who just lurk here (and other sites) just to keep up on the show. And you know me, I can’t keep my mouth shut with questions about why Sami did this or that or about the goings on of J&M, Bope, Carrie, Austin, Stefano and Katie, etc. 21 years, they are people who have come into my family room every day, hard to say a "permanent" good-bye to those folks.
February 24, 2012 at 9:40 pm #31330shadowParticipantI think we are on the same page with hating all this overdone sexual scenes and now these gay ones.
