Patti, I’ve gotta say that this last episode is getting me more interested in it.  I like the way things are moving and it looks like there’s going to be some interesting stuff in the future.

Unfortunately though, just like Days, they are straying far from realism, i.e. the spontaneous song and dance routines where everyone knew the notes, steps, and lyrics.  And carrying an original Degas sketch around NYC under your arm?  I’m sure!

BTW, did you find that Jonas brother’s singing really bad, especially after hearing the Broadway singers?  I think he needs his brothers backing him up.  Maybe they only hit it big because of their looks…which I don’t think are that great either.

his role in this week’s show was laughable to me, especially since he looks like a high-school kid trying to impress the older woman and then realizing he wasn’t in the same league, money or no money.  I do love the job Catherine McPhee is doing.  She is so talented and whether this show is a "smash" or fails at some point, she is going nowhere but up from it, I’d bet on that.  I’m waiting patiently for a couple of more episodes til Thoresten Kaye arrives.  He’s one of the stars of the now defunct All My Children.  He played Zach Slater, who was married to Alecia Minshew, who played Susan Lucci’s daughter, Kendall.  I really loved this guy, and hope he will be as big as he was on AMC.

and finally this week Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater from All My Children) appeared.  He was the bartender who made the drinks for Eileen just before the end of the show, and there will definitely be some connection with these two.  I love Angelica Houston’s acting, but cannot see her as a love interest for TK’s character, whose name we don’t know yet.  Anyway, glad to see him finally join the show, since I adored him on AMC and still do.  And he has the sexiest voice I’ve ever heard.  This show just gets more exciting for me from week to week, and things are really starting to heat up now.  There’s not one character on this show that I can say I can’t stand.  Everyone is doing a superb job.
