I’m not prone to crying over tv shows, but Lexie today got me. When she said she couldn’t leave her boy that was heart-breaking. She put me right there in her position and I felt it. Bravo to the actress.
April 23, 2012 at 11:11 pm #32603PattiParticipantat least we are seeing some real drama here. By the way, I thought RJ looked absolutely beautiful today. I really like the sibling chemistry between Lexi and Cameron, and wonder what will happen to this family once RJ is gone. And Kate, today, was a piece of work when she eavesdropped on Cameron and Celeste’s conversation. Boy, she couldn’t wait to have a reason to run back to Stefano, could she. Nice way to show Ian how appreciative of everything he’s trying to do for her, who was standing right there when she bolted past him to run to Steffie, even though Celeste tried to stop her. I sure do hope Ian has a plan to watch every move she makes, and will be there waiting with a long rope for her to use when she hangs herself. But, then, Kate has always been a material girl, and I’m sure Ian knows her well enough to know what he’s doing. Sure, run to Steffie Kate …. don’t give your son, Austin, a second look in the direction of his misery. Better be a good sweeps month, that’s all I’m sayin’, cause more than a few Salemites need to go down right about now to keep me positive regarding this show’s future.
April 24, 2012 at 10:48 am #32607BonbonParticipantin my over 40 years of watching this show but…I’m really getting disgusted with the whole damn thing. They keep ruining one character after another to the point of rendering them unredeemable. The new writers better take over quickly while there’s still a show to take over.
April 24, 2012 at 1:52 pm #32617mommytutuParticipantWho are you talking about? Who’s unredeemable?
April 24, 2012 at 9:30 pm #32620BonbonParticipantThey have totally ruined his character for me. Carrie is another one. So is Austin. I don’t know how they can ever make me care for them again. I’ll add Abby to the list and probably Gabby too.
April 25, 2012 at 12:16 am #32622NoraParticipantI agree about rafe bonbon, this is so not the rafe we all fell in love with. I hate how he talks to Sami. And carrie and Austin can’t get out of town fast enough for me! This is another couple I could take ’em or leave ’em.
I wonder what they will do with Jennifer when jack leaves?I like Abby and Cameron together. Reminds me of Theresa and Ethan on passions, they kept bumping into one another and spilling stuff on them. But I knew this would happen, Celest gets a bad reading from her taro cards about Abby!
April 25, 2012 at 1:32 am #32623mommytutuParticipantO.k. I got confused. I agree, I’m not liking Rafe. However, I hate, hate, hate Carrie. I wish she would go away. Yuck! She should be ashamed of herself. I have to ff through all her scenes.
April 25, 2012 at 1:35 am #32624shadowParticipanttalk to Sami like he wants to. Sami rants and goes ballistic and carries on like a wild raving lunatic. I personally think he should completely ignore her and walk away when she shows up. Of course she doesn’t have enough sense to keep her mouth shut.
I loved the Doctor that stood up to Stefano and told him exactly what was what. He has tried to play God for so long that he doesn’t know how to do anything but threaten and control people.
I really felt for Lexie and Abe when they were trying to cope with the sad news. And then we had to witness Austin and Carrie in bed AGAIN!!!! YUCK!!!
April 25, 2012 at 1:22 pm #32632PattiParticipantI almost felt sorry for E.J. because I believe that he really does love Lexi. All of the actors in this story line are doing a great job, IMO. James Reynolds and Renee Jones are going to be hard to beat, but James Scott was believable today. Loved the effect of the one tear falling from his eye. I’ve never had that happen, by the way, but it looked heart-wrenching anyway. I was also glad to hear the doctor put Stefano in his place somewhat by telling him straight that she knows who he is, but all his connections, money or power (or words to that effect) were not going to cure Lexi. I always hated that about the DiMeras, all of them, in that when someone is in very dangerous health and possibly dying, they think they can "buy" their life through their connections. No, no, Nonno, you may be able to "take" a life, but you cannot buy one. Oh, wait, maybe you can (Rafe-2).
