I’m sorry, but I truly liked the scenes between Sami and E.J. today.  I realize most everyone on this board thinks the worst of Sami, but I thought she was very honest with E.J. today and held nothing but sympathy and respect for him today, which certainly he’s not entitled to after everything he’s done to her, personally, and to her family.  It just felt to me like she wanted to help him through his downward spiral, even though she doesn’t know why he’s truly feeling that way.  She was very up-front with him and saw his pain and respected him being the father of two of her children enough to realize that he really needed to be with them.  I know, I know, how can I think that way, but I liked the fact that the hatred and the horrific memories were put aside, and all she saw was a father who needed his children.  She didn’t try to take advantage of him; she didn’t slam the door in his face; she didn’t throw daggers at him or mock his intentions; instead, she saw saw a broken man who fathered 2 of her children and tried to help him through his struggles.  I didn’t for one minute look at it like she was trying cheat on Lucas (if, in fact, they stay together), or try to put the moves on him.  She knew exactly what he needed and she gave it to him … the loving arms of Johnny and Sydney.  Of course, I do have to say, those two still have a ton of chemistry when their scenes are displayed in this light, so I will and do give her credit for the way she handled him today.  I don’t know where it will lead, but their closeness today was watchable for me.

I agree with you patti! I could tell Sami felt sorry for him. I thought it was so cut them cuddling on the couch. But I’m with you, I don’t want them to sleep togerher! I mean we know how fertile EJ is and Sami too! I’m surprised she didn’t end up pregnant from thier little “greif sex”. I wonder if he will now ignore Geovannie and Sydney since they aren’t his blood, how would you explain that you cant see no-no (sp?)
Anymore. But yes it was so much better scenes between Sami and ej then seein the gang in the un-safe house!
Anyone know how long Shane is sticking around for? I used to love watching the Nanny on nick at nite, but now the play it like at 2 am or something, yeah I know I can record it, lol I remember one when Steve ” Patch”. He was some hot shot soap star, and so full of himself.

I’m tired of seeing Sami almost everyday on my tv.  Is that all tptb could come up with her and E.j. being so ooie and gooey.  Smug Sami probably thought  if E.j. stayed longer she could get him to bed.  She probably forgot about Lucas only a few hours before.

Sami is not much of a CEO.  I’ve yet to see her actually at the office working.

I’ve been very bored with the show because every day is just another day in the messed up life of Sami. I force myself to watch, hoping to see something different. Like…

What’s happening with everybody else in Salem?

Why can’t we see some of the folks who are totally uninvolved with little miss? Maybe every other or couple of days? No.  Instead, even if Sami is not actually in the scene, it all just feeds back to her eventually.

    So.

    BORING!

While the scenes were well done, I cannot understand how Sami could be in the same room as Ej. With everything he has done to her, starting with the Rape she had to endure to say Lucas life, to replacing Rafe with faux-Rafe, to stealing Sydney, then making her believe Sydney had died, to "grief" sex over Johnny.  How could she even look at him, let alone talk to him?

I don’t think that I could EVER forgive him for all the grief he has given her.  After all her marriage fell apart because of him.

I cannot find it in my heart to fell sorry for EJcause he deserves every bit of misery that comes his way.

If she’s willing to forgive EJ then I don’t see why she can’t forgive her mother or carrie. Carrie is far worse than marlena, but still, ej has done far worse to her.

but,  seeing Sami day after day gets on my nerves.  If Sami is the so called CEO, then why doesn’t she GO TO WORK!!!!!   She hasn’t been in the office since she began her BIG JOB.

Because I think it’s absolutely ridiculous after what has happened with them. After the faux Rafe situation, that would have been it for me. I’d never keep his kids from him, but see them at your own apartment. There’s no reason he had to stay there with them. Just the stupid writers and their inability to keep continuity or Sami from turning into a total slut. JMO

Every CEO I’ve ever known (or known of for that matter), even for small companies, are work-aholics and at the job way more that anybody else in the company.  Yes, they do work out of the office but rarely at home or the local mall.  Any time they’re out of the office it is out of necessity and they are meeting with other important business contacts or clients.  Sami is a characture of a CEO, if that.

Not only that, Lucas joining her at CW was totally laughable.  I can’t believe he’d go up against his mother like that, especially after her witnessing their, um, "physical" reunion and knowing how angry she’d be over it.  And just what are his skills anyway?  Neither one of them has an education nor, for that matter, very much experience.  I could see if they had made their way up through the company over the years but that isn’t the case here.  Sami has been in the workforce, what, 15 minutes now?

I also thought about Sami being "scarred for life" by seeing her mother with John and her claim that she could never be able to forgive or forget.  it just proves how unbelievable it is that she could forgive or even be civil to EJ.  As for her feelings for Carrie

Sami really did plenty to Carrie so it is dead even!!!!

Sami used to be smart, she has definitely come down with amnesia and lost all of her intelligence.

Oh and another one, she wants will to forgive her when will walked in oh her and ej’s Good Greif sex. LMAO. Haha I liked that, good greif sex. I crack myself up sometimes. Teehee. Maybe will should point that out to Sami, she was never able to forgive marlena, so why should will forgive her?

for me, the character of EJ can NEVER be redeemed in any way, shape or form.  Between him and Sami, I am a very happy camper on the days when they are not on screen.  She’s already a slut in my book and has become even more arrogant and self-serving than she’s ever been in the past.  EJ has always been that way.  I’m just glad they aren’t showing him dispensing his mayoral duties from the mayor’s office.  I wonder if they are ever going to address the fact that he didn’t win the election, that Nicole rigged it.

of Sami tossing up the Marlena/John thing as the ruin of her life. IF you Sami have that huge an issue with it then get yourself some counseling. Otherwise, shut your trap and grow up!

calling Sami a "slut", "whore", and the list goes on and on.  Sami pales in comparison to the "real tried and true" sluts, whores, etc., in Salem.  It all depends on who you like and who you don’t.
