There is no way in hell these people (John, Marlena, Bo, Hope, Carrie, and Rafe) would have put all of their families through such horrible grief and sadness…no way, Jose! Not even to catch Stefano.
Certainly they don’t ALL have to be dead to pull this off. It would have sufficed to just kill John and Hope or John and Bo and let the others survive. Nope, this one is just waaaay too unbelievable.
And remember, I DID say that Stefano didn’t know about the bomb? That Harmon did it after he met with Stefano. Of course he’s going to feel responsible for it. Good! Let him hurt for a change.
And, yes, as much as I’d hate to Joe leave, this would be a very good time for him to retire from the show. But I wouldn’t want someone else to kill him, I’d rather have him die of some lingering painful disease (he’s already got diabetes which could cause him to start losing limbs) and suffer both physically and mentally, from all his evil doings, for a long, agonizing time. Maybe even trying to atone to everybody individually for what he’s done to them in the past. Yes, THAT’S what I’d like to see.
May 9, 2012 at 9:46 am #32883SWParticipanthas been done before. Remember when Jenn pretended to be dead to catch STefano’s adopted son, Peter? She rose at the funeral in the church as an angel only it was a different actress. I just see it as a set up for a who killed Stefano story: the house gang is after him, ISA is after him, Sami is after him, maybe Austin, Billie, even EJ, Ian, and Harmon are all possible candidates for ridding Salem of him. Or, he could go to jail.
May 9, 2012 at 12:18 pm #32885caseyParticipantis Harmon’s “misunderstanding” of Stef’s order. Oops – sorry I killed six people by mistake!
May 9, 2012 at 12:46 pm #32887bluebonnetParticipantHow could Harmon misunderstand "take care of them?" I would have interpreted that the same way Harmon did. How stupid that Stefano said he really didn’t mean to kill them when he said to take care of them.
May 10, 2012 at 3:03 am #32902UhSirParticipantis after the "coast was clear" Roman told them to get out of there. Um, how? On foot? Not like they had a car. Even if Rafe and Carrie did drive up in their own cars, the cars have to stay there because Carrie and Rafe are "dead." So now I’m left with this image of six people trudging through the underbrush just out of sight of the highway.
May 10, 2012 at 12:25 pm #32913SWParticipantto take them out to dinner or some other stupid thing! When a criminal says, "Take care of it" he means to get rid of the problem and that is what Stefano is, said, and I suspect meant but now that he’s done it he’s blaming others!

May 10, 2012 at 3:49 pm #32926PattiParticipantI distinctly remember Harmon TELLING Stefano that the security system was rigged with a bomb, and that it could even be detonated from the woods, so why would Stefano not have given him orders right then and there that, under no circumstances, should the bomb be set off. The whole explanation of Stefano’s not knowing was ridiculous.
May 10, 2012 at 6:13 pm #32933DeeLanParticipantThat’s why Stefano always has someone else do his dirty work. He can then claim misunderstandings and keep his hands clean. I think this is the only way he can live with himself.
May 10, 2012 at 8:57 pm #32948UhSirParticipantI can never remember the specifics like he does. I’m so glad he watches with me, even though he said he wouldn’t.
I’m wondering now with Stefano’s latest behavior if maybe we’ll be finding out he’s got dementia or something like it?
May 10, 2012 at 8:58 pm #32949UhSirParticipantThank you, I missed that. <EOM>
