I really like her and hate to see Brady lose another "true love." Poor guy, he just can’t seem to live "happily everafter." I wonder if he’ll go back to Nicole and then Rafe will come back.

Yes, I would have preferred Ian to go over Madison. I wish they would quit using and abusing Brady. Poor guy, he deserves a listing loving relationship. Ian, by contrast is really a useless character.
because a month or so back I posted an upcoming spoiler (don’t know if anyone else saw it) about Ian’s cane being an integral part of his backstory. The backstory or spoiler (not rumor or spumor, but a definite spoiler) claimed that Ian’s cane was engraved with the symbol of the "Phoenix", insinuating that he was a DiMera, and that perhaps he was E.J.’s biological father, but that was right after the old writers were fired, and I think that the new writers nixed it. That may or may not be the case now, but I think that would have been an interesting concept, because E.J. would still be a DiMera, but not Stefano’s son but Ian’s. Then, the day it was supposed to be spoiled, it never occurred. Hmmm….still wondering though!
I still think it’s possible that John is EJ’s father and that would still make him a DiMera. Just my guess and wishful thinking though.
Maybe Joe is actually leaving by his own choice and that would mean Stefano gets caught and has to pay for his sins this time. Without a true villan that leaves Ian to be the next terror of Salem.
If Joe decides to leave, they can hardly just pop a new villian on us. This way he can get under our skin before Joe leaves.
I hope this doesn’t happen because I don’t care for Ian one bit.
